Fastag has got lots of issues. Lots of technical problems. Nevertheless, good that you spread this awareness!

Atm withdrawal k time bhi adhiktar time late msg aata hai kuch time to msg aate hi nahi

समस्या फास्टटैग मे नही है,टोल वाले गडबड करने की कोशिश करते हैं। जब मैने आने जाने का टोल कटवा लिया उसके बाद वापिस रिटर्न हुये तो वापिस टोल मांग जबकि मे दे चुका था ,मै बोला कि सिस्टम मे चेक कर ले रिसिप्ट मेरे पास नही है। काफी बहस के बाद मामला हल हुआ

Sivaya ( western u.p. toll plaza) par mujhe alag no. Ki slip pakda raha tha. Maine turant dekha aur bola ki sahi no. Ki slip do.
Yeh bahut ho raha h.
Sab log slip par no. check kr ke hi aage badhe.
Dusri car se 4m ka gap banake chalna chahiye wrna samne wali car chali jayegi free mein or scan apka hojayega isliye ek car ka gap leke chalao aisa hi issi case mein hua hoga🙃🧐🤔🤔

Thanks a lot for uploading and educating us with such a scenario. Such instances have also been noted on NH1 near Murthal. Not sure it’s an issue in Haryana region or in other states as well.
Some major issues:
1. Tag is blacklist even though it does work at other tolls.
2. Low balance, even if you’ve plenty of money on it.
3. Your tag is not being captured, invalid tag.
This has happened with me also.
I was asked to pay for the toll in cash and my Fast tag was also debited

exactly the same thing happened with me. i was made to pay double. Thank you for sharing.
same thing happened with me few months back.. i have sbi fastag.. i passed through a cash/fastag lane.. toll booth guy told me that fastag is not working so pay in cash.. which i did.. and after half an hour i recieved a message that money was deducted from my fastag too.. on my way back i tried to reason with toll manager but he didn't listen.. i raised the complaint with sbi fastag helpline but till date i have not been refunded any money

Sir, same incident happened with me last year, I am also using Paytm fastag since April 2018. I got refund as well. one more thing I would like to add as I am using fastag for long time now, once the tag reader was unable to read my tag and showing invalid instead of having sufficient balance in wallet & I had some heated conversation with the toll collector, toll barrier was opened some how or not working, I drove my car out without paying any toll, after some time I got sms that toll was deducted using fastag.

same thing happened with me at Kherki daula Gurgaon Toll plaza, amount deducted 3 times from Paytm Fastag, and i have to sent mail to paytm along with vehicle image, RC, and Fastag statement screenshot and then they refunded me the amount...
Dont use paytm, always buy fastag from bank. And do not link with ur bank, use saprate acvount like bank provide. M from maharashtara, m user, of this, i have very pleasant response of it.
Can i recharge my fastag through my credit card of same bank through whuch i bought fastag..?plss reply.

Please see Sub rule (3) of rule 6 of the National Highways Fee(Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules,2008.Third proviso says that if the reader could not read the Fastag even if it had sufficient balance due to malfunctioning of the toll collections system, then the toll collector should provide the driver of the vehicle with Zero transaction receipt and should allow the vehicle to pass without any charges
Bhai NHAI k rule number 6 k according agar fast tag machine read nh krti h to 0 RS. Ki slip milegi or Bina toll k gadi niklegi...
While crossing balachaur- Hoshiarpur highway, I didn't pay a penny to all two toll plazas as they don't have fastag scanner but fastag was installed on my car screen. I had just shown them the rule to which they agree after a brief argument.

Apne hum sabko aware kar diya, Aaj mai Rai barely gaya tha jate me to mere fastag se 90Rs Dakhina Shekpur toll plaza pe deduct ho gaya tha aate waqt usi toll plaza pe scanner mere fastag ko scan nahi kar pa raha tha phir toll employee hand fastag scan machine leke aaya usne 3 bar fastag ko scan kiya lekin block phir invalid keh kar usne mujhse cash 45Rs aur liye but usne mujhe koi receipt nahi diya.

Sir this is what exactly happened with me too.
First the scanner couldn't read the tag, then hand held scanner said invalid tag, then finally paid cash. Unfortunately I was in hurry and didn't see the wrong car number in the slip. After an hour later msg arrived that money was deducted from my fast tag account. It irritated me so much.
Maste Duv you screw the system n dont ignore it.
Jab Maine 1st time fastag use Kara to ye mere sath km se km 10 baar hua.

You need some modifications when the tag read ones and try to read it again it should display 'already processed' not invalid tag...

This happened to me too. Cash was taken at toll and later I got the fastag sms but by that time I got really far ahead and could not come back as I was on a long trip.

You have to keep minimum 15 ft
Distance from the car in front of you. Than this issue will not occur.

बड़ी सेमफुल बात है। नई नई तकनीक लाई जाती है पुरानी गड़बड़ी को रोकने के लिए । अब सामाजिक बुराई यहाँ तक हो गई है की अपना हक का पैसा तो ले लिया अब 10 रुपया चोरी का भी देदो ।
जब दूसरे तरह के सब एस एमएस seconds मे आ जाते है । तो बैंक ओर सरकारी तंत्र ये एस एमएस भी तुरंत टोल प्लाज़ा पर ही मिलना चाहिए ऐसा इंतजाम करे ।
