Greetings from not so great Yarmouth,how its changed from the good old days., our historic town used to be the biggest fishing town bk in the day now your lucky to catch a cold😂. Gotta be init to win it ,
You carry on Waffling Brett, it adds interest. A point on the blanking, heavy or persistant rain swelling the river will force the fish out into the more salty waters away from the river entrance, not sure if the crabs have a higher tolerancve of fresh water !.

Try putting your bait into a small bag f fox armour mesh then hook into the bag that stops the pesky crabs while still allowing scent of your bait to attract the fish I use it all the time when my bait keeps getting stripped still enjoyed the video keep em coming mate 👍

At least ya didn’t blank 😂🦀, here’s a little tip go into a craft shop or anywhere they sell that stuff and get some small polystyrene balls or eggs an use them for floating beads it’s cheaper than paying for floating beads and you can paint them any colour you want. TLCM Brett

always a holiday in a caravan on south denes as a kid 60/70s great then could walk from the harbour mouth all along the docks and see the fisher girls gutting herrings right down to where you were fishing near lydia eva , shame the harbour and docks are now a no go area ! always had a day on gorleston pier fishing and caught mainly eels ,my uncle was a dab hand and back at the caravan gut and cook em ,cant say i was a fan but had some great holidays as a kid ,always liked a walk round "spending beach " near the harbour when there was a cafe there ,still visit g/y but its lost its sparkle

Yarmouth is definitely a hard place to get a good job .
When I visited last march I was amazed at how different Yarmouth looked from when I was a kid . It was like being in a different country !
