Floor is a much better singer but the very first members of the NW army are loyal to Tarja and probably prefer the more metal/opera mix. It's something that must be respected, loyal long time supporters are rare. I don't like opera at all so for me it's simple, I jumped down the rabit hole when I heard NW with Floor.

Thanks for the reaction, Ever Dream is one of my favorites. I say the same about many Nightwish songs, but to me there's something special about "Ever Dream", one of the 1st Nightwish songs I fell in love with. In my mind "She Is My Sin" Wacken 2013 is quite a lot like "Ever Dream", especially what comes to Floor's vocals and Jukka on drums. She does the vocals alone.

Marko Hietala has one of the best voices - there's some solo stuff he gets within Nightwish, but he also regularly appears as a guest singer (Delain; Avantasia; you should check out the Ayreon Universe show as it has a lot of the who-is-who of fantastic power metal/prog performers) and he truly shines in his band Tarot, as well as his own solo album (released last year in both Finnish and English). The man is a powerhouse.

That's him at his softest and a truly lovely duet.

You should check out Ghost River from the same concert. Marco (the bassist) has a much larger part in the vocals and him and Floor together is just fantastic! After listening to this group for 23 years, this song remains one of my favorites second only to "Sleeping Sun" from 2015.

All three are examples of Marcos singing chops and they are all three quite different in style as well. I'm sure you will like them.

There are a lot of good nightwish songs you should check out, but Floor has also been on a singing show in her home country of The Netherlands called Beste Zangers, and you NEED to check out some of her singing from that show. In particularly, her doing a duet with Henke Poort from Phantom of the Opera. You know, if you want to hear her hit a high note that sounds like it could shatter glass.
Also, 7 Days to the Wolves is a great Nightwish song to check out too.

Jansen can sing from classical to belting and raspy vocals like screaming and death growls, She is a soprano with a range of more than three octaves (C3 to F6 I think personally she has at least 4 Octave to 5 Octave cause her high chest belts can reach so high.
