Thank you Honda Land for a Very Nice video. I've thought I'm going to buy a Arduino Uno to change the baud rate of my Bluetooth Module HC-05. Because of your video I've managed to change it just repinning the hulog connector and following all your instructions. Thank You again.
Can't pass step 2. I have two different cables, none of them work. One says Failed to enter AT mode, the other one just does nothing. What I did wrong? It recognizes the COM port automatically but can't connect to it. Thank you for your help! Edit: I got it fixed by change the RX and TX. My bad.
@Honda Land i want to thank you alot for helping me get everything working you when out of your way to help me thanks. now my phone and laptop are connecting no problem and thanks for putting a base map on the SST27SF512 chip, are you selling the bluetooth module yet
its only work hulog cable ? i cant programming universal ttl usb converter sir i programmed bluetooth module parameter setting for 38400 what can i do thanks
Sorry to comment on an older video but once I have the logger flashed can I just put it in the Chipped ECU to log in HTS? Iv been fixing and chipping ECUS but now I am to the point I want to explore fine tuning. Id like to have the chip mounted in the ECU and connect and log with HTS real time
No worries about when the video was made. That's what it's here for. You can put it in and log with HTS yes. You will still need to make changes with a burner but once it is setup you can connect with ease and record logs with no wire
@@CorpseFreak hulogger is a Data logging device. As well as the Bluetooth. Datastream only and not tune changes. To make changes in real time you will need a emulator such as Demon, Ostrich, cobra RTP
@@hondaland_ I wasn't trying to make any changes in real time. I'm just trying to figure out could the huloger be omitted from the setup process of the hc-05. Like could a custom USB be made to program the hc-05 and then once it's flashed put it on the ecu. Then data log through hts and make changes then return the sst. ( I hope I'm not asking stupid questions and I appreciate you taking the time to reapond)
To answer the Question You can not communicate with the HC-05 and just a cable. I made oen so far. Theres something else missing to make the communication. I cant find a driver but I will keep looking
Sir, what would if I maxxed out the baud rate of the HC-05? Thank you. I am looking for a faster communication between the module and my android headunit for tunerview.
The port on the ecu is capped at 38400. Turning the baud of the hc device will make it stop communicating. Try a different device to use tuner view on for a less laggy screen. And also do not buy the cheapes hc device from china. Stick with dsd tech or the ones from moates or boostednw and so on
The one hc05 hooks up to your laptops Bluetooth so only one is needed. A device is needed to talk to the hc05 and change the baud rate to 38400 with AT commands

I have tried this using a HC06 (from DSD tech) with a hulog, following all the steps you have provided. i noticed the HC06 that i have doesn't have the AT button to push. I tried using solder and 2 spare wires to perform the process, but no success. I also couldn't find the bluetooth name for it on either my computer or my phone. Any way you could make a video using a HC06?
06 is the same but no button press is needed and the 06 tab is used in dsd tech app is the only difference. Make sure your com speeds are set to the default number in device manager and the program
