- In this video I use a FTDI serial connector to read data from the CN2 port on a OBD1 Honda ECU. There are many options to datalog this is the cheapest and easiest in my opinion.
If are going to use Uberdata, the spot labeled J12 is not cut. You need it to able to use Uberdata’s datalogging. For all other users of HTS, Crome, Hondata, Neptune, etc. you will need to cut J12.

Idk if ur still around but what if I have 1998 Acura Integra ob2 with a p28 none vtec and im try to get live data but I can’t figure how i can I’m chip but I can’t figure out how to get the live data to know what’s going on

You need to add a CN2 port, cut a resistor, and have a data logger with HTS or another software of your choice
Is there a knock option for the graph? Where you can see if the car is knocking at certain rpms and go in and adjust it? And would you have to have a knock sensor in order to use that feature? My car doesn't have a knock sensor but I want to try and tune mt timing tables a bit more in depth to see if I can find a max timing position before I start to knock
no sure I don't use a knock sensor

Yes it should be possible as data logging comes from the CN2 port

So to datalog you need to add something to the datalog spot on ecu what exactly do you put there and when its put in you run a usb to your computer and it links hts with it?
You need to chip the ecu and add a datalogging header pin. I have a video covering this as well. Yes you will need some type of ftdi to usb cable/controller or a hulog or any emulator that has one

Unfortunately not yet. Motor is out still I am deciding which way I should go with the block and had a few things to do to another vehicle.

Yes as long as it's OBD1 and has a slot for the chip....
@@DIYKAI I connected the cn2 ports with a usb and it's not showing the datalog. I have also installed the suitable ftdi drivers
My com port is not visible in device manager

No you will need an emulator to do live changes

I got a BMulator, that does not work with HTS does it?
Unfortunately the owner of BM has been at odds with HTS for a while now so I would mess with the setting a little and contact Marc see if he responds and can help
