ആദ്യകാലങ്ങളിൽ R22 ആയിരുന്നു, പിന്നീട് വന്ന Ac കളിൽ R410 ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ ജാപ്പനീസ് മാനുഫാക്ചറേഴ്സ് എല്ലാം R32 ആണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. R290 യും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
