Dear friend, after all, very good presentation. Let me ask you 2 questions. 1. An RCCB is needed, if we have an SPD? 2. Will RCCB cut off when short circuit occurs in line?
1. Yes, RCCB is required for personal and fire safety. 2. If short circuit is between phase and earth/ground wire, RCCB will trip. But if short circuit is between phase and neutral, RCCB won't trip. Similarly, RCCB won't protect against overload. MCB or fuse is required for this purpose.

I have bought VG 400 Plus V-Guard Stabilizer for a 1.2 Ton Split Inverter AC . I have a doubt .. if the Input Voltage is less than 200 V will the stabilizer step up the voltage above 200 V (Output Voltage) , so that the AC can run smoothly . My AC's designed operating voltage is 230 +/- 10 V. When i inquired with the AC Technician, they said for the AC to operate smoothly the voltage should be above 200 V and if it is less , it is like giving too much load on the compressor and eventually damaging the compressor and AC , AND there wont be proper cooling. Please Advice.
