    OMG, i hadn't realized i would have to go thru all this to get to the oil pan....i will definitely take it to Nissan

      It's not that bad. If you do it yourself the you know it was done right with top quality parts. The 8mm body panel clips are cheap and I don't trust mechanics to care enough to make sure they were all in place.

    I would go set the milage for old and filter to 0/7500

      I just changed my 2020 Altima oil and filter yesterday and I set my to 7500 Miles. The original setting in the system said around 9946 something but no way I let my car go that far even my commute is 80% highway. Sure, synthetic oil said last 10K but not me.

      I did it at 6,000 miles. Modern synthetic oils are good for a lot more than that.
