She got the golden buzzer from Heidi klum and went right to the finals. She has about 130 songs so there are a lot to react to from she was 7 years old and to now when she is 14 years old so she has been singing amazingly for seven years now.
There is definitely something magical about Angelina Jordan... We know her talent is unmatched by any artists today..She is so far ahead of her peers...But at the end of the day, what is truly AMAZING is the person that she is.. I always like to leave a little bio for people just discovering Angelina for a little background (be sure to read why she sings barefoot)... *Angelina Jordan* - Angelina Jordan was born Jan 10 2006 in Oslo, Norway. She is currently 14 - She began singing at the age of one and a half - At 2 or 3 she discovered Jazz through her grandmother and started studying all the greats from Jazz history with youtube videos. - *Why Angelina always sings barefoot* - When Angelina was 6 years old, she was traveling with her grandmother and met a poor girl with no shoes trying to make money on the streets. They talked for a while and discussed their dreams. It was cold and the girl had scars on her feet. Seeing this, Angelina took off her shoes and gave them to the girl. The girl thanked her and told Angelina she would pray for her every day. That day Angelina made a vow to always sing barefoot until all the children of the world could have shoes. After you saw her as an 8 year old when she won Norway's Got Talent, she's done some concerts here and there mainly in Norway because her family keeps her exposure limited. So you're already familiar with Angelina from years ago when she was little. What gives? Hiding under a rock? This first performance was taped last October when the entire show of AGT Champions was prerecorded. She was 13 then and turned 14 in January. Her final performance of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and her collaborative of Someone You Love are way good. Queen gave its blessing on this performance.

(She also had a second song written for her to sing - this time literally written *for* her - called "Song for A" by Nico Cartosio. Oh, and there's another original song that she just happened to be the first to record, although she declined to release it officially: "I'm Still Holding Out for You", written by an artist who records under the name BabyFuzZ. She recorded a demo that got leaked online. It's just a demo, and yet it sounds like it could be a hit single played in heavy rotation on the radio. And she was reportedly only 10 or 11 [depending on whom you believe] when she recorded it. Anyway, I realize I'm talking way too much about this song, so I'll stop. =) One thing that is quite striking about these 6 songs is how very different they are from one another. Her covers are similarly diverse. If you haven't heard her since she was, say, 8 or 9, you will be amazed at how she sounded at 10 and 11, as she was losing the last remnants of that childlike "hoarseness" in her voice. Perhaps you might listen a little more carefully- also you could try adding and subtracting. She said 13 not 30. She said she was 7 in 2014, when she won Norway’s got talent. If you get out your Calculator and you can you subtract 2014 from 2020-You’ll get an answer of 6- and then add the six to the seven and see what you come up with for her age, if that’s not too complicated for you.
Stop yelling! You hurt my ears. Actually it is also rather rude to be drinking coffee while you are presenting. It is not respectful of your audience. On the positive side: her singing makes you stop drinking coffee and turn on your nice voice, that is authentically nice. Learn to not yell, because your yelling voice is bad. Your soft voice is actually nice to listen to. Learn to talk like we are sitting half a meter away from you. There are people with nice yelling voices, but you are just not one of them.
@@benheideveld4617 I was told a long time ago that attacking someone with a negative criticism causes them to shutdown listening and has less likelihood of impacting the listener. Conversely, asking them a question that makes them rethink their position is more likely to result in change. I think your ‘attack’ approach would work if the person you address is unaware of their condition and already agrees with your position; in which case, I think a gentle mention would be just as effective. On the other hand, I read a very impressive (to me) case study that explained changing someone’s opinion requires them hearing a message on at least five occasions from a total of three different sources (you can’t be the only person who thinks they need to change). Do you think any of that could be useful?
This is so funny, because across a number of reactors I often think “why couldn’t you take a drink of water before you pressed the record button?” But, more recently watched another reactor, who you might find far more offensive because he wears a wide brim hat and rarely exposes his eyes during a reaction; and when he took a sip of coffee and mentioned doing it, I thought of your comment here. Something about his demeanor made it seem in character and normal. I think Jonny Carson always kept a mug on the corner of his desk and sometimes took a sip, but I bet he was calculated about when he did. It can be quite a distraction to the viewer, who thinks the reactor should be hanging onto every word and note. Maybe the drinking should be only done when the reactor ‘has the floor’.

Angie is a very kind, giving, loving, respectful, & big hearted Christian girl. She always sings barefoot when performing & she wrote a book about it at 9 called “Between Two Worlds” & was/is the youngest to be published in Norway. Others will explain this or you can look it up. *Angelina Jordan*
- Angelina Jordan was born Jan 10 2006 in Oslo, Norway. She is currently 14
- She began singing at the age of one and a half
- At 2 or 3 she discovered Jazz through her grandmother and started studying all the greats from Jazz history with youtube videos.
- *Why Angelina always sings barefoot* - When Angelina was 6 years old, she was traveling with her grandmother and met a poor girl with no shoes trying to make money on the streets. They talked for a while and discussed their dreams. It was cold and the girl had scars on her feet. Seeing this, Angelina took off her shoes and gave them to the girl. The girl thanked her and told Angelina she would pray for her every day. That day Angelina made a vow to always sing barefoot until all the children of the world could have shoes. To this day, whenever Angelina is performing in public, she sings barefoot as a way to remember that little girl and to remind us that there are less fortunate people in the world that could use our help.
Angelina holds so true to this promise that she has sung outdoors in Norway, in december... barefoot. She has sung at a dinner with ex-pres Obama... barefoot. She went on AGT (possibly the biggest stage in the world)...bare foot. She made a promise at 6 years old, and has stuck strong to it for years. That takes a special kind of person.
- She has always been the driving force behind her own singing career. It was her that asked her mother to take her to Norways Got Talent, where she auditioned at 7 years old and went on to win the whole show at just 8 years old.
- In an interview after the show, when asked what she was going to do with the prize money, the 8 year old replied, "I would like to give it to orphans that need clothes and shoes"
- When Angelina was 9 years old she became the youngest published author in Norway, when she wrote a book about the story of why she doesn't wear shoes when she sings. She donated proceeds from the sales of the book to help children in need.
- The reason you may not have heard of her is because her parents are very protective of her childhood. They do not want her to be thrust into stardom before she has a chance to grow up as a normal child, and finish her education. They allow her to do a few select shows (mainly private and charity events) with a couple public shows every year when she is out of school. Her mother said in an interview that they have turned down 90% of the offers that come in. I have heard they have turned down offers from many major record labels and even disney.
- Angelina has covered more than 120 songs and over 65 artists in the last 6 years. She always selects the songs herself... everything ranging from old classic jazz to modern pop. She is able to change her voice to match any song she sings and make it her own. (she can cover Amy Winehouse and Lana del Rey like nobody else)
- Angelina has collaborated with some very big names over the last few years... Quincy Jones, Mark Ronson, David Foster, Alan Walker and many more. All of which heard her and were blown away by her talent.
- Angelina has written three of her own original songs: "What is Life", "Shield" and "Oslo". (all are amazing...all can be found on youtube)
In summary, Angelina Jordan is destined to be one of the greatest singers to have ever lived. This is just my opinion, but if you listen closely to any of her stuff you will hear the greatness. She sings with a natural style. There is no acting, no showing off, there are no unnecessary runs, or big belty notes just for the purpose of saying "hey look at me sing". She once said "when I sing I go into a magical world in my head", and you can always hear the results of that. When Angelina sings it is pure soul, pure emotion, pure music.

So you're already familiar with Angelina from years ago when she was little. What gives? Hiding under a rock? This first performance was taped last October when the entire show of AGT Champions was prerecorded. She was 13 then and turned 14 in January. Her final performance of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and her collaborative of Someone You Love are way good. Queen gave its blessing on this performance.

@@krizzkatriel "Above the Water" was written by others (the EDM duo called TRXD) and she was just asked to sing it as a "featured" vocalist. Her third self-penned original is "Oslo". (She also had a second song written for her to sing - this time literally written *for* her - called "Song for A" by Nico Cartosio. Oh, and there's another original song that she just happened to be the first to record, although she declined to release it officially: "I'm Still Holding Out for You", written by an artist who records under the name BabyFuzZ. She recorded a demo that got leaked online. It's just a demo, and yet it sounds like it could be a hit single played in heavy rotation on the radio. And she was reportedly only 10 or 11 [depending on whom you believe] when she recorded it. Anyway, I realize I'm talking way too much about this song, so I'll stop. =)
One thing that is quite striking about these 6 songs is how very different they are from one another. Her covers are similarly diverse.
If you haven't heard her since she was, say, 8 or 9, you will be amazed at how she sounded at 10 and 11, as she was losing the last remnants of that childlike "hoarseness" in her voice.

Perhaps you might listen a little more carefully- also you could try adding and subtracting. She said 13 not 30. She said she was 7 in 2014, when she won Norway’s got talent. If you get out your Calculator and you can you subtract 2014 from 2020-You’ll get an answer of 6- and then add the six to the seven and see what you come up with for her age, if that’s not too complicated for you.
She did say 13. She still has an accent on some words.

Stop yelling! You hurt my ears. Actually it is also rather rude to be drinking coffee while you are presenting. It is not respectful of your audience. On the positive side: her singing makes you stop drinking coffee and turn on your nice voice, that is authentically nice. Learn to not yell, because your yelling voice is bad. Your soft voice is actually nice to listen to. Learn to talk like we are sitting half a meter away from you. There are people with nice yelling voices, but you are just not one of them.

@@benheideveld4617 I was told a long time ago that attacking someone with a negative criticism causes them to shutdown listening and has less likelihood of impacting the listener. Conversely, asking them a question that makes them rethink their position is more likely to result in change. I think your ‘attack’ approach would work if the person you address is unaware of their condition and already agrees with your position; in which case, I think a gentle mention would be just as effective.
On the other hand, I read a very impressive (to me) case study that explained changing someone’s opinion requires them hearing a message on at least five occasions from a total of three different sources (you can’t be the only person who thinks they need to change). Do you think any of that could be useful?
This is so funny, because across a number of reactors I often think “why couldn’t you take a drink of water before you pressed the record button?” But, more recently watched another reactor, who you might find far more offensive because he wears a wide brim hat and rarely exposes his eyes during a reaction; and when he took a sip of coffee and mentioned doing it, I thought of your comment here. Something about his demeanor made it seem in character and normal. I think Jonny Carson always kept a mug on the corner of his desk and sometimes took a sip, but I bet he was calculated about when he did. It can be quite a distraction to the viewer, who thinks the reactor should be hanging onto every word and note. Maybe the drinking should be only done when the reactor ‘has the floor’.

Weeks later, and yes, I'm finally seeing later videos and appreciate the sensitive facial reactions you offer. Even if you weren't such a beauty, those small bits are why I enjoy all the reactors' work.
