I would love to see a technical expert describe phrase by phrase how many techniques and qualities she is demonstrating in that one performance, she uses every possible place in her mouth, nasal cavity, and back in the throat for her tone box and transitions from to another while combining various places and ways to shape vowels , different ways to use vibrato, I have listened to many of her videos and it seems that there is NOTHING she can't do so well and so effortlessly that you have to listen several times to catch it all. She called Simon a legend, I guarantee you, a hundred years after Simon is forgotten some audiophile will be announcing to the world that he has found a "New, Never before seen video, of ANGELINA JORDAN!!"

From Iowa, USA; 1. An important thing to remember about AJ is that she refused to sign for a record deal through AGT and they relented and invited her to sing anyway. 2. AJ is currently signed with Republic Records. 3. She began singing at 18 months and due to her grandmothers influence, she was drawn to and fell in love with jazz and blues music. 4. She has been arranging most, if not all of her music performances since she was 8 years old. Hopefully this will remain as she continues her career with Republic. 5. Currently in 2022 she still performs barefoot and I hope by now that you have discovered the incredible reason why she does that. 6. AJ sews her own clothes, (the cloth is designed by her grandmother) and she stands 6 feet tall at 15 yeats old! 7. We all hope to enjoy her performances for many years to come. 8. BTW I'm 80 and have been involved privately in music since age 7.

The whole point of AGT is to find a talent that can sell out tickets to a 2 hour show. Angelina is the "it" ! Goosebumps and tears guaranteed. World class. Top billing. T he other acts were limited.
She took her jazz voice to next level, at end of song her kick back sound like Norah Jones.

I would love to see a technical expert describe phrase by phrase how many techniques and qualities she is demonstrating in that one performance, she uses every possible place in her mouth, nasal cavity, and back in the throat for her tone box and transitions from to another while combining various places and ways to shape vowels , different ways to use vibrato, I have listened to many of her videos and it seems that there is NOTHING she can't do so well and so effortlessly that you have to listen several times to catch it all. She called Simon a legend, I guarantee you, a hundred years after Simon is forgotten some audiophile will be announcing to the world that he has found a "New, Never before seen video, of ANGELINA JORDAN!!"

From Iowa, USA;
1. An important thing to remember about AJ is that she refused to sign for a record deal through AGT and they relented and invited her to sing anyway.
2. AJ is currently signed with Republic Records.
3. She began singing at 18 months and due to her grandmothers influence, she was drawn to and fell in love with jazz and blues music.
4. She has been arranging most, if not all of her music performances since she was 8 years old. Hopefully this will remain as she continues her career with Republic.
5. Currently in 2022 she still performs barefoot and I hope by now that you have discovered the incredible reason why she does that.
6. AJ sews her own clothes, (the cloth is designed by her grandmother) and she stands 6 feet tall at 15 yeats old!
7. We all hope to enjoy her performances for many years to come.
8. BTW I'm 80 and have been involved privately in music since age 7.

I still remember that I was shocked in a positive way, and I have ever since that time been a fan. A fan of a child. I wouldn't believed it if you had asked me 10 years ago.
I have never been interested in the jazz music genre , but Angelina's interpretations of old jazz music classics has "opened my eyes" for that kind of music for sure, and in a way "touched me".
In the past year she has posted some great covers of modern music as well.
