You guys are doing brilliantly considering how you were both full of cold at the start, as for those of you that a leaving negative comments, it’s all good being at home in comfort and warmth passing judgement, I bet 90% of you have never even been in a survival situation before, especially when feeling run down from a cold, they can’t even have a fire and yet they are out there bringing us this adventure, kindness and decency are both free. Keep on keeping on guys 👍
even when the fish aren’t biting and the weather is unfavorable, don’t lose your confidence Greg!! regardless of Amos’ success with the fishing, you are a vital part of the team and your absence would make the whole trip more troublesome.
Greg, you’re a bit of a youtuber who works harder than smarter but there’s definitely something about it that draws me in. i dig your persistence and your calm attitude even when the bush is giving you hell. it must be good to know that even when youre soaked and trying to sleep on a pile of moss, it definitely beats sitting at a desk at a corporate job where you gotta be clean shaved and in a uniform each day staring at a screen while working for the man. that’s no way to live.. i’d take a wet night in the woods over a day in corporate america. rant over ✌️🇺🇸
Sounds like someone needs to get out and get dirty for himself! Go do what Greg does, hell, just one day!... and you'll see why he's the man. It's always easier said, then done. So don't be afraid of mother nature's vagina, it's always fun to play in!
Im still Loving your videos Greg don't listen to the negative comments you still got plenty of years to go, thank you so much for everything you do for us and the adventures you take us on keep up the amazing work
Greg your upbeat attitude and ruthless pursuit of adventure really helps me to get moving every day. I'm so glad you exist sir, and when I get your age I hope I move half as well. Love ya man.
Greg, think about a walking staff? I use one in the woods now since I had a spiral break in my leg 2 years ago. Just use it to poke around ahead of you before your next step.
Greg- this has been an amazing experience so far. I don't see what's behind the scenes but Amos seems like a great guy & I subbed his channel. If things have been going as good off scenes as on scene, I'd say you found a great friend there. He has spirit, he's energetic, kind, seems caring & you probably made 1 of his dreams come true by hosting him on your channel. I hope to see this friendship take off either on or off channel.
Well Amos can catch the fish and you can collect all that you both want and need to go with it . After you know the different edible plants and berries . So together y'all are making a good team .
“Is the lens foggy, or is it my eyes?” Best line ever! Also, instead of deforming the pan, cut a twig with a branch. Trim the branch portion short and the main stem slightly longer. Hang it on the rim of the pot and the liquid will follow the stem to your cup. Debark it if you don’t like a woody flavor. Or use sassafras twigs, they taste good.
M just gonna say, luvs you're persistence even when things don't quite work out, you keep tweaking it until something happens that works, thank you for showing people that you can survive!!!
Realest channel on TH-cam. Thx for all you go through to give us entertainment! Paracord + Tree limb + Stick = entertainment. Watch Findley entertain himself lol.
I'm going through your new series Greg. Happy belated 40 my man, I just turned 31 myself. I feel you Greg, even when your "still young" well being in your 30's or 40's isn't like being a teenager or in your 20s. So I completely understand because the fact I'm not as young as I used to be , and hit me as well. Your still an inspiration everybody who should respect themselves and life around them and take every step like every fresh breath of air, because every step, is a new door to wonder to new wonder and a new beginning
I just love the way y'all work together, tho it's good to know how to thrive on your own it's better with a buddy, the buddy system is more educational you've both brought a lot of personal knowledge together sharing it and learning some new tips and creative idea's on the fly to get things accomplished is a special gift to us all. Thank-you for sharing ♥much love♥
Definitely better with someone who can help keep moral high & not go crazy in 30 days😂 not that either is lacking but everything is better when you can share the experience
I was parked sitting in my truck just settling down to watch Greg and Amos...when a gravel truck with snowplow on the front hit me. I'm ok just watching now
Greg, we love the challenges and you could probably go anywhere and we’d come along, but since you’re not getting any younger, try to pick a place where you still are living off the land, but not so brutal on the older guys, lol. It stinks getting old. As my Dad used to say, “My mind is writing a check, my body can’t cash”, lol
Another enjoyable part of the series guy's , awesome that Amos luck continues with the fishing , And Greg with the forging for some edibles as for the tarp, very true companies just make crap now as greg said nothing last. happy to see the radishes growing very cool Greg. love the smoker idea you guys in all are not doing to bad your keeping busy , your both eating well done Guys!
When I watch this channel, I think of Bartolomeu Dias, the Portuguese explorer. My country is tropical hot, humid and I have never enjoyed snowfall. Thanks for the inspiration this video brings. Good luck and have fun
Great show guys thank you for sharing. Greg I removed the fishing curse. You should be able to catch fish now. Have a great day. Guys are doing good bye-bye
5 AM i just woke up and i'm drinking coffee; can't describe the satisfaction of seeing Greg finally pour coffee without spilling a single drop of it!!! :)
It's great how both have their own unique skills. While Greg's fishing skill wasn't his strong point this time, his handy-work skills proved very valuable
Greg it's probably time to throw it in. I would love to take a class about botany and plants but I don't think I'd want to go 30 days with you in the mountains.
Hi Greg i'm the little girl from Alabama here man I love fishing with all my heart I love it I was raised at the Guntersville dam we went nearly every evening Daddy get home and us kids seven of us had worms Doug and arcane poles ready if we had our worms already dug in our own little can he would take us fishing and we catch 100 bluegill every time we went hell My Mama would catch 25 a piece at least and then the seven kids with catch 4or 5 I was good I'd catch as many as mama would catch I'd stay right there in between mama and daddy even when I got to be 12 they wouldn't let me go and pass them to fish 🐠🐟🐟🐟 it was robbed all the way down from one end to the other and you could take a boat down to the boat dock and go in but it was dangerous if you got close to the dam and them generators 24/7 and they're humongous it would pull a boat in and crush the people and Daddy was always scared one of us kids was going to fall in the river the Tennessee River running through Alabama going up north Tennessee it starts at the bottom of Alabama I want to say Gulf shores Orange County somewhere in between 🤣❤️💜❤️😘😘😘😘😘😘 them kisses is to make your legs feel better cuz they're sore babe I don't see how you could walk like that I couldn't do it one of y'all to be piggyback riding me 🤣🤣❤️ I watch all your shows on here on TH-cam I appreciate the way you leave the land as you found it take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints 👣 let that be everybody's motto 💜🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 and them's me kissing you cuz you got pretty blue eyes 😘😘😘😘😘😘😀😀😘😘😘😘❤️💜
What a wonderful comment ❤. I'm from Canada near Bellingham Washington. It's a half days drive to where their videoing. Your story of fishing when you were young is awesome. I have those same fond memories. We are so far apart from each other , with different types of fish. I was catching rainbow trout. But the memories are identical. I just spent this weekend with my daughters up at a lake carrying on the ❤ of family.
Something good to know about the puffy shooms. When you cut them open top to bottom, if the outer layer is not thin as an eggshell, they could be poisonous
I think it's super respectful that Zack is helping you with your videos ! I love watching you guys every episode.. I'm pretty sure I've watched all of your videos and all of zacks I would love to come do a 30 day survival challenge with you and Zach I think it would be one of the funnest experiences I've ever done in my life I love survival videos I've made my own fort I have biked across Canada from Calgary Alberta all to way to welland Ontario it took 19 days and I did 3600 kms thank you for all the interesting edibles you have taught me and all of your amazing bushcraft fishing poles you make ! Very inspiring keep it up your doing great
I want to express again how great I think it is that Greg’s channel does so well, but I also want people to be aware that Greg likely does not see all of the profits from his channel as he should. I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest to find out that Zach Fowler and those guys are pocketing massive cuts (like 80%) of the profits from Greg’s channel.
I love watching you man. I Talk about you to all my survival buddies. Lol Pretty interesting to see how y’all are living even with modern equipment. I just imagine the mayflower and all them folks living and dying just trying to survive. Now I see most of it was just trying to find something to eat. Just blows me away.
Greg I know you're really knowledgeable about surviving in the outdoors I don't question that at all,but sometimes I do wonder how you ever survived on "Alone". I'm enjoying the series on both channels and I thank you Greg, Amos, Zack and of course Finn for all the great content.
Well, like you say, because he is very knowledgeable about surviving in the outdoors! On top it seems he does very well being by himself over a long time. He is very determined, and don't forget, it's some years ago as well.
Greg, if you ever read this, Gorilla tape the edges of your tarps. Double up on the corner Grommets with 45 degree pieces and then put a hole through it. Use a small piece of wood or a rock as a toggle, your tarps will last a lot longer.
so glad this is out! ready for the whole journey i love it! i think i’ve watched all of greg’s other videos so i’m relying on these new ones! this is my favorite youtube channel for real
I guess Fiinn is happy go lucky. He’s got his 2 friends, a great place to hang out, and Greg brought his food. Not much of a challenge for a dog, especially a bush raised dog, lol
Just being honest here. A 45 minute video I can't skip through the adds... Gotta go man. 600k Subs awesome man, a waste of my life ain't worth it, I wish you luck!
2:43 Bro just poor slowly, sorry I can't keep seeing you struggle any longer!
Use gravity, it is your friend.

Soaking wet laying on moss better than a desk maybe
For real . Great management!!
WELLLLLLL SAID!

Sooo happy that fire is on back that made Greg day yeesshhaaa, that’s how he do it, stay safe.
Thank you Greg, I always looking forward to seeing you and Finn awesome videos, I love it, from the beginning, you beautiful soul.
Hi Greg I have watch most of your videos about five times at least I just love it, you very funny, caring and kind heart.
Can't wait for the rest of the 30 challenge.
14:37, talking about shrooms and strong tea and then pulling at face like that. You're a legend Greg!
Find a interesting stick or one with a nice root ball.
Getta whittling brother!
Be good content ...watching you get creative by the camp-fire.

Greg, all I can say is, “be glad you brought Amos, he’s a fishing machine
Awesome video Greg as always !!

I love your content, Mr. Greg. I would be happy as a clam to have the opportunity to be under your tutelage.
Love the honesty of Greg Ovens
You need a moisture barrier of a Tarp on the ground under Your Hammock to prevent rising
Dew.
I had a good laugh when I head "goodnight JimBob", and the Waltons were back.
It does my heart good man to see you doing what you do. It'd be awesome to hang out with you for a while
M just gonna say, luvs you're persistence even when things don't quite work out, you keep tweaking it until something happens that works, thank you for showing people that you can survive!!!

This is some quality TV. I realized those projects keep them same out in the bush.
Always open out the second shoulder strap so it’s easier to get then tension back up once you have it on your back
This looks like so much fun! Love the videos and would love to try this myself!
Indiana is awesome. Can't wait to move home
Just realized Greg not only looks like Sasquatch but possibly drift wood 😆
Watching You from UK Mate ! I happy everything works out for You Mate ! :)
Thanks Greg
even the critters left the folgers coffee alone and took zacks coffee. 😮
Beautiful scenery.
The end ( .. can't really see me, maybe that's good )
just cracked me up! Greg is so funny!
