    Awesome video
As a blind person, I find stand alone equipment, best for creating beats manually, while having access to the advanced features as well.
    Awesome product

The chord thing is really crazy. Really breaks down barriers to entry for beginners and veterans alike. Been playing piano over 20 years, but it's never bad to audition different progressions in other scales and modes. I just find that feature incredible.

    Amazing tutorial!
I don't know if Maschine Mikro is simpler or you're just a great teacher, but when I watched several training sessions on "big" Maschine, I didn't understand anything. The hardware seemed completely abstract, so much so that even with trial and error, after a few moments I was able to create something in Fruity Loops but not in Maschine.
The issue of additional plug-ins, effects, etc. are just details, but you clearly and quickly explain how to record something quickly, and the most important thing is that you have joy, willingness and enthusiasm to discover Maschine further.
For me, it turned out that when I had a "big" maschine, I mainly used the computer, and Maschine for groups and pads. I didn't have to mess around with the sampler, create samples and use very advanced functions. however, I know that the strength of Maschine lies in its displays, knobs and quick access to everything without a mouse or computer, which allows you to create quickly and with imagination.
For me, it seems that creating simple songs and having fun is enough for me to be happy, and if I add mainly using a computer, Maschine Mikro seems to be perfect for me! At my level of creation, pressing Shift + Pad instead of a specific key to select a group makes no difference.

I just recently acquired the S49 MK II but was looking at these for drum pads, and for around $150 used, I think it might be worth it. Just to have another platform to approach drums and chords from. The S49 is definitely more versatile and delicate for articulate playing. But this is great for scratch tracks and fast beats.

I have been wanting to spice up my DJ set with a small portable device that I can take with me beside the DJ controller. Was undecided for a long time between either getting a Xone K2 or Midi Fighter Twister to have more control on the FX's parameters of the DJ decks or the Maschine Mikro MK3 to add live performances. After watching this I have come to the decision I should get the Maschine Mikro first. As it looks loads of fun to play with, next to playing with mixing music.
Thanks for this great video! Also subbed for more content.

I just got the Maschine Mikro MK3.
I like the hardware and build a lot. Great pads and sensitivity.
But I really don't like that it's nearly all locked to using the Maschine software.
A few basic things can work fine in midi mode.
The pads and some basic midi commands work (if you dive into setting them), but still.
It's VERY limited outside Maschine software.
    The price is good though

Can you do everything on one of these hardwares?
    Great tutorial!

    • @GetintheMix
      @GetintheMix  4 ปีที่แล้ว

There is an overlap in the core functionality of those two units. Of course the largest difference between them is piano keys vs drum pads.
The Maschine Mikro however does have more direct control over the Maschine software, meaning you'd have to use the mouse more with the M32 in Maschine than with the Mikro Mk3.
