Tim! Enjoyed the convo at the Mad Scramble Tour. Thanks for the channel insights. Look forward to future meetups and maybe some collabs between Break 80 and FCC!
Really interesting episode. I've watched a bunch of pods/vlogs with Scott and learn something new every time. I'd like to subscribe but 1) I'm cheap, and 2) I don't play enough to make it worth the effort.
Interesting that he said Tigers the best course manager of all time but Tigers known for laying back off the tee pretty often rather than blindly ripping driver every time Also Scott taking credit for spreading the Tiger 5 lol coaches have been preaching that for years now
28:50 Lower scores I think make it harder mentally for these pros. If you miss a birdie on a hole where it should have happened and you can’t stay in control mentally to be able to keep doing decade on every hole, that’s where the score can blow up.
Everything he is saying is true. It’s just too bad he does not acknowledge that others before Tiger and himself have said (Raymond Floyd in his book) and done (Tommy Armour walking the course with his students) the same thing. Great 👍 content! Keep up the great work. Love the channel.
@@isambo400 “they didn’t do the research” as if strokes gained existed before 10-15 years ago and they were just to lazy or dumb to do it 😂 the whole data thing only exists because of the advanced shot tracking systems to provide that kind of data. Scott fell into the perfect time period for this, if he was 20 years older he’d be in the same boat as them
From 1996 to 1999.5 before he made the change to the tiger 5 stats, Tiger won 8 times or 2.3 times a year. From 1999.5 to 2005 after he made the change he won 38 times or 6.9 times a year for 5.5 years Literally tripling his win percentage is nuts and if he didn't do it he would have never won so much. Course management is literally everything.
What does it say about me that I have watched literally EVERY Scott Fawcett podcast, 90% of what he says is the same thing, and I can't get enough?
perhaps it helps, you are not alone 😂😂
I am doing the same thing right now. Just something about it.
@@andyogle2185 It's been two years for me. 😂😂😂
Haha! I was just about to write the same comment. I just looked at the sections but still I'm watching :D I can't get enough hehe
It says your a moron?

This is amazing, way to get to the main stuff. Wow and thank you!

Lol If tiger created the 5 rules; how is Scott taking credit for it?
I 100 percent agree about the putter length comment

Rick Shiels says, "178 to flag? I'm hitting 9i!"
Lol he's infuriating talking about making birdies all time... Like Scott always says, just stop making bogeys!😂

He’s acknowledged their contributions to the theory many, many times before in other podcast interviews
They didn't do the research. They just knew intuitively. Scott has the data as well
Thanks! We plan on doing more TH-cam content.

Everyone is sick of Decade golf and seeing Scott Fawcett plastered across youtube talking shit
Did he really just say Tiger didn’t win much in the 90s?
Hahahaah
Fake Gurus have found golf TH-cam
Well considering his debut was 99, that is an accurate statement.
