We Tried to Live like GREEKs...This is What Happened 🇬🇷

We are on a short stopover in Athens, Greece for the evening before we take our flight back to the UK and we decided to do something a little different today, rather than going off and doing the usual things a tourist would do we decided to live like a local for the day!
We shopped with the locals, ate and cooked some Greek food, spoke Greek with the locals and lived in a non-touristy neighbourhood for the evening.
We did this to try and emerse ourselves in a new culture and get an experience different to that which we would normally get as a tourist.
Things didn't go to plan with this challenge but we enjoyed it and hope you enjoy our rather unique experience and get something useful from our travel tips we provide too!
