That’s a great Rebrickable, Brick Artisan never disappoints. I wanted to enclose mine, but I went the more expensive route of buying two of them and building the 2nd in mirror to the first. Then joined them together - Your's is a MUCH cheaper solution !!!!
I learned the other day from the LEGO subreddit that they simplify the whole "it's a MOC, but it's not my MOC, it's someone else's MOC that I found and am building" thing as a SEC (Someone Else's Creation), and I thought that was great 🙂 Anyway, I'll get back to watching the video now (only 1:30 in, but thought I'd share that acronym)
Great little mod. Plus only the 50+ bricks etc.. I agree the older Modulars are very expensive. Plus some really show their age in terms of what you get with minimal interiors etc… I’ve actually started picking up some used or heavily discounted newer sets I.e. the boutique hotel, jazz club, diner etc.. to mod instead.. there’s some great alt builds for these on rebrickable. Keep up the good work.. I did a brick wall at Meadowhall today.. double points plus loads of parts for more mils plates and walls etc for the city.
I found you recently watching one of your travel vlogs and happily discovering you did Lego too!!! From one Lego obsessed person to another, great channel, so engaging, and this mod looks so great! :D
I'm currently doing my own creation of the Family Reunion set. It's a tricky one because of how the 'windows' are put together but I've figured it out now and I'm pleased with how it's turning out. But there are loads of MOCs on Rebrickable if you don't want to tackle it yourself. I personally wanted more space at the front rather than everything taking up space on the footpath so my version will have the back of it up against a wall allowing extra space at the front. It's a lovely set though. I also bought the Modern House on day 1 and have been pondering over how to make it modular. This design looks great, certainly worth considering. Thanks for showing it 😊
I’ve got 3x of the Lego store set’s hopefully arriving today / tomorrow to try my first MOC with. I’m in the same position having all of the recent Modular’s and I’m not going back, it’s just too expensive so I just want to try a couple of my own. Hoping the do this Lego store first and then I have the Darth Vader castle which I’d like to modularise 😬

Thanks for building the modern beach house. I hopethe instructions were great and youenjoyed the build 😊
Instructions were great, thanks! Love the build!
Looking forward to the Sesame Street moc.
This looks great and tempted now to build this myself. I probably spend half my spare time browsing through Rebrickable.
I could happily spend a week in a Beach House that looked like that in real life.

Try and get hold of the T1 camper that makes an awesome Santa retreat house
You should try the Sitcomplex also a brick artisan design. It’s a fun build!! And gorgeous
I’d love to, but all the sets for it are mega expensive!
Looks great
the Sanderson sisters/Hocus pocus house makes a good shop version
Lego room looking cool kev 👍
Good build. The ocean needs a shark. 😊
Anna loves sharks
Cool
Very cool and amazing how do you make that
The link is in the description
great MOC that one, where did you buy your small clear trays for sorting your parts?
They’re from Amazon
Hi I have been to the Lego store today in Newcastle upon Tyne
Can you tell me how deep your city wood board is please?
9mm on the bottom tier, 18mm on the top
You should add a petrol station to the city, would be something to help fill a gap
There’s one on the Corner Garage
@@blockpartyuk oh yeah forgot about that, I always think it’s a pub as that’s the alternate build, thanks for the fast reply
Eli5 what is a modular building?
They are sets (usually buildings) built to a specific size which can connect to each other to form part of a street.
Ahhh makes sense, thank you
Everytime you say snazzy i have a shot 🥴
I don’t condone this behaviour
Cool
