I had enough parts to do one for my Daily bugle makes total sense it’s so easy ti move now - although I don’t have a city I just display a few at a time then take them apart and cycle them so fairly Cheap for me 😁

Mine has just arrived and I’m just starting off bag 5. So far I’m loving the build. It’s so cool!

Can I ask a question ? How do you clean your Lego sets & keep them clean? Ours are always getting dusty and can’t keep up with it !! You should do a vlog showing what you do !! Thanks 😊

I’m with you I’m not keen on the tuxedo cat to me it seems a bit naff for an adults themed set, but would definitely get the Land Rover Classic cause I’ve already got the technic Land Rover Defender. The one set that I’m trying to get before it retires is the Nintendo NES but it’s still out of stock on the Lego website. 🙈

MILS is the way to go. Cardboard sheets ain’t just good enough. I stacked 4x4 plates at my local PAB wall. I use bricks from my childhood and buy yellowed bricks from parents whose kids outgrow their Lego. Obviously, separately the plates is a chore but its either my fingers or wallet hurts (where unstacked plates for PAB is not economical).

I have this going for $500 in Australia and I spent the money. I can’t wait to build it after when I finish the jaws Lego ship and also the amazing Spider-Man Lego set.

Please can someone tells me what “mils” means or stands for! It’s been bugging me for ages

If you use 16x16 plates you only need 25 bricks

Just curious why you didn't put the other full green plate on top of the base you built? P.S I am new to all this at the age of 61 but your videos are brilliant and very entertaining 👍🍻

I think anyone who sells bricks (authentic Lego or not) individually should also offer themed accessory packs, so you can get some things like a collection of, e.g. castle doors and windows; pirate ship accessories; City parks decor, etc, that sort of thing. But they also should offer MILS Plate sets, with everything you need included for a two-pack. With Lego reselling becoming such a huge thing for independent sellers, even outside of Bricklink, this seems like a no-brainer idea to me, and I'm surprised it's not commonly done.

Why do people put the little plates on and not just another big full plate?

Great video Kev, love the speed build and less than 20 minute video! Just my opinion as I noticed some like the clicking noises but would be great to add some music over the building part, non commentary parts! Keep up the good content :)

I dont see the point in these. Waste of money in my opnion. Nothing wrong with the normal plates and using road plates. Mine work fine together 🤷

Legos don't do what they used to do where they didn't come in.The plastic bags number you had to find every thing They're just. Making it easier for people to put it together by bags. I'd rather pour them all out in one big. Huge container and do it the other way makes it more fun and last longer.

My past self never buys Lego that I get as I nice surprise he usually hides all the Christmas rubbish in the shed and future me finds it when I go to cut the lawn in the spring 😑
