Pdubs, think you could do a light-gun stream at some point with this set-up? Seriously considering this for my T2, but want to make sure the quality of the shooting mechanics holds up before I drop the money on a conversion kit and the Retro Shooter.
A peice broke off inside my cord connection to my T2 gun and I have been waiting for a replacement from A1up for over 6 months. Looks like I will just get this to bring life back to my cab

PDubs, This kit would've been worth it, but you completely lose the T2 Documentary, which I think is why most people bought this cabinet... Just kidding :P Now that Buy Stuff Store has a kit for Arcade1Up's Time Crisis, it now makes this setup compelling to me. Though I liked T2 in the arcades, the cabinet artwork never really spoke to me. Arcade1Up's Time Crisis on the other hand, is one BEAUTIFUL CAB! I don't recall ever seeing the first commercial Time Crisis cabinet in the arcades (though I may have, I might have just forgotten), but what Arcade1Up did with their consumer release of Time Crisis is fantastic, looks wise! Now, the sparse games list leaves a lot to be desired, but the Retro Shooter Kit integration takes care of that. However, like you mentioned in this video, it can get pricey when you start adding everything up. But for me, I'm willing to do projects like this, because I don't think I have another 100 years in me to wait for Arcade1Up to bring out what I want. vgv
I noticed you’re using the Blue gun as Player 1, but the Buystuff Store has a reversed color scheme control panel for the kit. Any reason why everyone else uses the red gun for Player 1 & you didn’t?
A couple of questions. One of the boards you install, the purpose is basically making the monitor able to accept hdmi? And is the reason for using the IR with that kit because they’re smaller and look better? The new retro shooter kits are now coming with 4 IRs. Do you know anything about that?
Yes that first board you install is to accept HDMI, yes the Buy stuff sensors are smaller and look cleaner when installed versus the stock sensors. Yes Retro Shooter came out with a 4 sensor setup but on an arcade1up screen this small the 2 is all you need no issues with tracking probably use 4 when playing on a large TV etc
Hey thanks for the video im just wondering if the pc adaptor allows you to play on a gaming laptop or pc and be able to play to play other emulators with light gun games I'm a little bit confused About to buy but would only do it if that was the case thanks

I want to do this too. Unfortunately the T2 cabinets are stupidly overpriced. Remember when they were on sale for $300. Shouldve got one then. Anybody know of another cheap cabinet you can use to do this mod? I'm assuming it can be done an any arcade1up cab right? Thanks
So honest question: in your original review of the Pandora’s box retro shooter, you basically trashed the accuracy of the guns and the performance of the emulation. It was for that reason that I cancelled my order despite having it loaded up in my cart and ready to pull the trigger. How is having it integrated into the T2 cab any better? Would love to hear your honest opinion.

I only use the retro shooter guns with the console, they are specifically made to work with it

Yes the PC Adaptor they (Retro Shooter) sell separately allows you to do that.

I like the arcade style stock guns that I repainted. Don’t like their guns they look like handguns. I also want to keep my cab as stock as possible.

Does the recoil still work similar to how it does on the default Arcade1up software? Like with the low energy slow down, etc.

Retro shooter ended up releasing a couple firmware updates since then and things are better, totally playable now,
