The story is from Krisna and Radhe. He was the black one. And Radhe was much lighter. He asked his mother why he was so black. It's because you are Krishna his mum tells him. So his mother suggested that he add colour to Radhes face with paint 🎨. Hence the festival of colour

We are not hindu we are sanatani It means an ancient culture It is not religion. Religion means you have to do certain things in a culture. In our culture is your choice if you want to follow our culture or not There is no force applied to you that you have to do certain things It can be your own choice, so it is not religion
