Thanks for sharing
In my 4 years of marriage I have lost two babies and I was very depressed. Had panic attacks. I thought I will die or I might kill myself or my husband might leave me. I got paranoid went though all sorts of crazy mental breakdowns.
My whole family is educated and supportive. Went to therapy nothing helped. Stayed on medication didn’t help. Got me worse.
The only thing that got me out of it was namaz and Quran.
My belief in Allah got me out of it.
I read Quran with tafseer. I went to majalis. Listen to everything PBUH and his family went through.
Now nothing in the world can shake my tawakul.
So people who say religion can’t get you out of anything don’t know their Allah. Sorry to say…

They were like so what? 😅😅
Imagine giving birth in a desi household just shy of 9 months of our totally arranged wedding😅
Oh i cannot forget the judgy eyes
Thankfully i can now laugh about it 19 yrs later
I have a very expressive face and I have a huge habit of using hand gestures a lot when I talk and Oh God the amount of times my mother shamed me for this ... Still don't understand why this was a huge problem. Oh and lmao will never forget when I got told to not blink my eyes too much because girls shouldn't be like this?!?!?? What? ... Now that I think about it I could go on and on about the things I've been shamed about but then again that's every girl's life . A bitter reality.
It really is! Thanks for sharing!
