Fanny packs are not allowed on The Hulk and Rip Ride Rocket. You can take nothing on those 2 rides. Nothing in pockets either. No phones or anything. There are metal detectors.
This was very helpful. I always do both Universal and Disney whenever I visit Orlando. One thing I also recommend you have is a park hopper to visit both parks on the same day (not including Volcano Bay) because you can easily do all attractions at both parks on the same day if you go on a day that's not so busy, get there when they open and stay there until closing.

As someone who goes yearly... invest in GOOD shoes or your day will be ruined. Something designed for extreme walking.
