Don't tell universal but I definitely got almost a whole bottle of wine in 😬 I had it in a water bottle and they let me through security just fine. 😅 I don't suggest trying it though it was kind of stressful and could definitely have had got poorly.
So yall talk about hulk in this video beating up your head...rode kumba at busch gardens (for the last time) and rode front row and my god my head was beat down. Never again..
Our backpack normally contains two ponchos, 2 towels, an extra capacity battery with 2 charging cables, an extra pair of shoes for the wife (she says a change of shoes mid-day is like all new feet) , baby wipes and travel size deodorant for that mid day freshen up, couple of pairs of socks, Tylenol, spare masks, sunscreen. We have no problem cramming it into the free locker, we just get a 2nd locker for the souvenir cups
As someone who has walked a lot of golf courses, that second pair of shoes is a lifesaver! We love the idea of the clean socks and deodorant, that Florida heat is brutal!
I bring a couple of extra hair clips these days... Funny thing is, they're not technically for my hair 😂. I use them to secure my mask loops to my hair on the roller coasters so my mask doesn't fly off :)!
I ALWAYS bring flushable wipes, antibacterial wipes, pain relievers, blister relief and $.99 ponchos from Walmart 😉.. when at Universal Islands of Adventure, 2.5gal size ziplock bag for valuables on Popeyes bilge ride😉😉😂🤣
All of these are great ideas! We love the blister relief idea because we always wind up with a blister somehow! The ziplocks are key for the water rides!

To be honest, we are not sure about the hydration bag! That is something we would suggest calling Universal about! We don't know why it would be an issue but you never know! Thank you so much for your support!
According to Universal’s website, it says bottled water up to 2 liters. I am not sure if a hydration bag would be considered a water bottle or not. We would suggest calling or texting Universal to make sure this is allowed in the parks. We really appreciate your support!
Hi Anna & Tyler! Great video of what to bring and not bring to the parks. I am a minimalist myself. The only things I have with me, are my ID, AP, chap stick, eye drops, travel sunscreen, phone, sunglasses and a hat. If something happens, if there is something that I need, you can usually get it at select places around the parks (Great topic for a future video, where can you get sundries, like bandaids, sunscreen, Tylenol, aspirin, pads, tampons, etc.). I found that you can ask at any shop and the Team Member can always tell you were to go to get it. Ken

Hey it’s gonna be my first time going to universal studios Orlando and I know the it’s the islands of adventure and the regular universal studios and I wanted to know if their both on park or separate parks like if you buy a ticket to universal studios can you go to island of adventure?
So Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios are two separate parks that require different tickets. There are however tickets that allow entry into both parks. They will be called 2 park passes or park hopper on the website.
Oh no! Yeah so the tip is that every ticket is capable of getting it’s own locker! Also if you are staying on site your hotel room key will also get you a separate locker. Just to put it in an example. If both of us have our annual passes and we are stay at an on-site hotel, we are able to get 4 lockers! Hope this helps.
Don't forget the anit friction chaffing powders. And mini sweat towel (wise owl) from Amazon sells amazing travel ones. Definitely the boonies and ponytail opening hat for the Mrs. And the extra pair of socks is a must!

I'm a bit worried about drinking the water during my visit, thank you! I am going through your videos and was just wondering if you have (or if you could) do a video where you go over the cost of the food items at the parks, to be prepared? The currency exchange rate is gonna burn a hole in our pockets regardless so I'm hoping to be prepared. Once again, thank you both for all you do!
They do have bottled water, but it is like $5 a bottle. I believe the freestyle water is filtered. Tyler and I are both pretty picky about our water, and it’s never bothered us! Our general rule of thumb for food is to budget about $50 per person per day if you’re eating all your meals and snacks there. We try to put the prices of meals up when we order things, but you can expect a meal to be somewhere between $12 and $20 at most places. Entrees by themselves will be closer to $8-$12 depending on what you get. The sit down restaurants can get more expensive, but you can also check Universal’s mobile app to see exact pricing!
Anna’s allergic to sunscreen, too! She’s found like one brand that she can use, but we understand the struggle. We hope you have a great time at the parks, and happy early birthday!

We always get the refillable cup that includes water at the coke freestyle machines. If we were locals, we would probably bring a water bottle with us to avoid the hassle!
@@TheHeirloomCabinet we’ve never really noticed anything obvious, but it’s coming from a freestyle machine and going into a cup that’s had other things in it so our expectations for it aren’t that high lol. According to Coca Cola, the freestyle machines have a filter in them, so it should be filtered water coming out. We hope this helps!

As far as we know, there aren’t any restaurants that are strictly mobile ordering only. Some restaurants like leaky cauldron and three broomsticks are trying to limit contact by having you mobile order from your table, but if you don’t have the app they will take your order. We like mobile ordering because it can help you avoid long waits at some of the restaurants.
I’m not a backpack type so recognizing that I will want a small 🌂 umbrella with me even in November, I bought medium sized Lands End long handled, zippered 17 x 6 x 12” totes today. As long as I don’t stuff the 6 inch depth tightly I should be OK with the small lockers. Oh the tall cup = 2nd locker! I got a vest with many zippered pockets, a flip belt, a fanny pack and a Maurauder’s Map Lanyard as well, and then I remembered I would want an umbrella! I will have Kleenex with me everyday. It’s been raining so much here in Mississippi it’s hard to believe I’ll ever see a day where I don’t need an umbrella!
It sounds like you’re prepared! We wish we could go without a backpack, but we’ve always got our camera gear with us these days. An umbrella is a great idea even if it’s sunny the whole time, we’ve wished we had one for shade before! We hope you have an awesome time in the parks!

We’ve never rented a car, and you won’t need one to get around the resort. If you’re wanting to venture outside of Universal, we would probably recommend getting a rental.
You can absolutely bring a stroller! They do have places to park them while you’re on rides, we would just suggest keeping any valuables on you or in a locker!

We’re sorry you feel this way. The parks have over 50 rides and attractions and that’s not even counting shows. We go at least 4 times a year and we’ve yet to get tired of it! That’s not even mentioning the new parks that’s opening soon.

Fun tip on the dramamine, the first aid station at Universal Studios will give you a dose for free if you are feeling sick.

As of August 2021, at least half of the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty. Bringing your own is probably smart :)
