So just an end summary of this game: Terra lost both his body and heart, Ven is in a coma, and Aqua fell into everlasting darkness with nothing but her dead masters keyblade. 😢
Why is this game so sad 😭
Side note: Kairis' Keyblade from KH2 was the Keyblade you unlocked after meeting her in Radiant Garden. Little did Aqua or Kairi know but when Kairi ran beside Aqua in fear from the Unversed she touched Aquas Keyblade taking the oath by accident ❤️
Why Vanitas looked like Sora:
It's kind of confusing when explained in-game, but when Xehanort split Ventus and ripped Vanitas out of him, Vanitas had no face (similar to Xion initially).
We see Xehanort drop Ventus off on Destiny Islands (Young Xehanort is who Terra sees before KH II Riku). That is actually the first time Sora saves Ventus (which is why Ventus says, "I know this place...").
At this point, Vanitas begins taking on the 'Sora appearance'.

Since you've finally gotten to the end of BBS, here's why characters connected to Sora and Ven look like each other:
Sora just looks like Sora and Ventus just looks like Ventus, nothing really decided their appearances beyond "they were born like everyone else", at least unless Square Enix and Disney decide to change it in the future.
Vanitas looks like Sora due to Sora as a "brand new heart" (pretty much a newborn) helping Ventus in the beginning of the game. When Vanitas was split from Ven, he had no appearance beyond a blank vessel, kind of like a mannequin of sorts. It wasn't until Sora helped Ventus that he began to take on an appearance similar to KH2's Sora.
Roxas looks like Ventus because of this along with something to do with when Kairi saved Sora in KH1. When Sora was restored to being a human, it's believed that some part of Ventus's heart stayed within Roxas, allowing him to take on his appearance rather than Sora's and letting them exist as two separate beings simultaneously (as under normal circumstances you wouldn't be restored to being human until both your heartless and nobody perished, but we have Kairi's Princess of Heart powers to thank for this, the key phrase being "under normal circumstances").
This also applies to Namine. Namine is Kairi's nobody, but since Kairi's a Princess of Heart, she normally wouldn't be able to have one. It was due to Sora releasing her heart in KH1 when Roxas was created that Namine was able to come into existence. It's implied that her powers over Sora's memories and those connected to him are due to Kairi's status and it os theorized that she has blond hair due to Ventus and him being hidden in Castle Oblivion is why she was born there.
Xion used to have no physical appearance beyond just being a body with no physical features (like Vanitas at first). It wasn't until she started to absorb Sora's memories and ability to use the keyblade that her face became that of Kairi's to most people. When we get Xigbar's perspective of her, we see that he sees her as Ventus due to him having a connection to Ven and her probably absorbing whatever part of Ventus was in Roxas at the time (I think it was implied that her ability to wield the keyblade came from Ventus and when she died it went to Roxas, thus allowing him to dual wield?). As for the end of 358/2 Days, her appearance became that of Sora's due to her being close to Xemnas's goal for her to become a replica of Sora through absorbing his memories from Roxas, it's reversed at the end before she vanishes due to them returning to Roxas and Sora.
I should also mention that all of these characters say Sora's name because it's supposed to be symbolic that they're waiting for him to save them.

Ok, so this will pretty much include all games currently out or about to come out in Missing Link's case. Nomura's made it pretty obvious that, yes, even mobile games are canon and you definitely need them to understand future games.

1:31:39 if one tracked Down all of the ingredients, and made all of the flavors possible, they would get a keyblade made of ice cream.
The flavors themselves, when used in battle, were command style jumpstarts, putting a player directly into the style, or directly to the finisher, if 2 ice creams were eaten.

The “sora” scene is more metaphorical than literal, it didn’t actually happened, it’s just their hearts “wishing”. But the aqua and ansem scene did happen and it’s after kh2, she spent like 11 to 12 in the realm of darkness.
Ya that sora scene had me so confused 😭 but poor Aqua! She deserves better
As far as the age gap between princess and prince you have to remember the Era in time they were in back then the life expectancy was like 40 so the fairy tale princess had lived half their life already and no such thing as age appropriate couples. No one had time to wait back then.

Originally, the mirage arena had multi player functionality. Players could fight monsters together, do team attacks, race each other, and play command board, the monopoly game in question, together.
Players still can do so, on modded consoles.

Pooh bear didn't want to die he was just getting ready for when he disappears just like his friends, but just to let you know all the pooh bear stories from 1 and 2 are cannon to the story of sora just like all the summonings they are part of the story sure they are optional but that just leaves you out of the loop and having the kh community fill you in on what your missing

I know you were asking about where Marluxia's Somebody is since you've seen basically everyone else's. We've yet to meet Demyx or Luxord's, but if you can put yourself through it, the original versions of Marluxia and Larxene are important to the story of the mobile game Union Cross. You don't see them around during the same time as the other Somebodies because they come from much further back in the timeline
Marluxia is in union but alot of first time kh players always skip cause it's a mobile game with no voice actors but a youtuber did a fan dub if your really interested into all of kh story

Aqua is done dirty a lot of times LMAO, if the one looking at the wayfinder in the realm of darkness (2:38:10) was Sora, a door to the light would've magically appeared and he would be sent right back to destiny islands... not for her though
I don't know if someone has already reminded you of this but that scene in kh where Xemnas walks down a shit ton of stairs and sits in a room to look at an armor, that armor is Aqua's (he said: it's been far too long, "friend"). That's the chamber of repose, and in a conversation between vexen and xigbar and another i think zexion, they say that the chamber of repose has a twin called chamber of waking (where Ventus is sleeping) which they were looking for in castle oblivion, they were right, it was there, but they couldn't find it (Aqua slayed)
You should definitely do 0.2, it fills in a few more gaps.

So it really isn’t properly explained in the game but Ventes’s heart merged in the beginning with a newborn sora. Sora is such an innocent person that even as a newborn his heart sensed someone was in danger and offered to help.
That’s why vanitas looks like sora and why roxas looks like ventus-they are all connected.
Ps. The reason why fairy godmother tells aqua that you can’t fight darkness with light is because sometimes evil is born from good intentions: which is proven by master Eraqus who tried to kill ven. That’s why fairy godmother didn’t directly give aqua the answer, cause aqua ain’t experienced/old enough to understand that.
Pss. It was VERY subtle but when the reason why kairi can use a keyblade was because she touched aqua’s keyblade when they met. Normally the ceremony terra performed for riku is required to bequeatha keyblade but since she’s a princess of heart, she pretty much stole the right to bear a keyblade. Aqua is also the reason why kairi’s heart merged with sora’s instead of being taken in kingdom hearts 1.
