Thanks for showing me another place that my shoulders prevent me from going. LOL I'm 6'4" and sometimes have to turn sideways with narrow doors. Have fun and keep yourself safe in there!
There is nothing like the real thing! Training for high stress events is experience that builds up over years, the more, the better. I got stuck in a crack like that during the 80s, it took me some time to calm down, and relax enough to get out. I was standing up. It is amazing how your body fluids react to being pinched! They can make the event worse. Keeping your head is the only way to win. Once panic sets in, you know a miracle when you get free!
Oh yeah if you freak out nothing good ever happens, definitely have had to learn that the hard way but rock is extremely unforgiving, you will break before it does most of the time
We need to get you up in this thang, you know when I live next to you I can scoop you anytime I head up there, Indiana is the shit as I’m sure you’ve heard me go on and on and on about 😂
This is definitely a work in progress, I’m very excited to wrap up this cave I’ve been obsessed with it for awhile - it’s just a 6.5 hour drive for me so it’s hard to get out there as much as I’d like
Can you source the info? I’d love to read up about that, I listened to a podcast about this cave but that’s the only info out there I’ve been able to find
Man I feel like my being skinny would pay off here. When I worked commercial construction, I had to squeeze into ceilings where nobody else fit. I'd rather be stuck in a cave than out at sea or in a plane if things got bad. I just wouldn't enjoy those water crawls in 50 degree water.
I remember when I got home from the first trip I was extremely baked and was thinking about that canyon squeeze and was getting nauseous from just the thought of it 😂 it’s pretty crappy dude now you know how I feel about that falling apart death trap y’all tried to drag me too
Oh yeah it’s back through the terminator, all that water goes somewhere though so I’m sure there’s an exit somewhere just a matter of finding it or more realisticly fitting through it
I'm no cave expert but that area around 15:00 where you were slipping down into that narrow passage you're traversing across, I was thinking to myself could you guys drill pulleys above to use to loop a rope to hoist up anyone that slips down and can use the rope to come back up? Just a concept of an idea that seems good in my mind but might not be viable with the limited space you guys are in. Hope it assists you from getting stuck or anyone else attempting future attempts in this area. Even a series of overhead pulleys above to secure you from slipping too low or pulling back up. Cheers!
That would be a good response to a rescue in that situation but a lot of work for a “what if” - you probably shouldn’t be down there if you think you might need one not trying to sound like a jackass or anything
Edwards doing his own thing he seems like he’s doing good which makes me happy, team kinda broke apart at the end of 23’ and now me Ryan Alex n Cade try and get together when we can, I’m actually moving down there in a couple months so all hell is about to break lose 😂
In my opinion it wouldn’t be worth it, you’d have to take care of a couple thousand feet of wall but in certain sections a chisel away of an edge would make it easier…. But where’s the fun in that 😂
I think you overpaid for that $7 rope but the temu deal on the ascenders and that homemade wooden figure eight was really a value. 🤣👍 Take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints. Happy Caving guys stay safe and "SEND IT".
I'm in Indiana....Where is this?!?!?! Are you crazy? Lol What about confined spaces training? We have a 30 ft. pit at work & had to have extensive training. BE CAREFUL!!
Yikes...! I just don't like that cave. It looks painful and not fun at all. Torturous, even. I'd rather you not go back there, but its your life and this is your thing of course. Just sayin.
The bad news is I no longer fit in such places .
The good news is I no longer fit in such places .
Im my skinniest ever and I was like LET ME IN
Thanks for showing me another place that my shoulders prevent me from going. LOL I'm 6'4" and sometimes have to turn sideways with narrow doors.
Have fun and keep yourself safe in there!
You might be good then!! If you can plant a hand and foot on the ground it’s not as bad

Beautiful, terrifying video. Mad respect for you guys.
Thanks dude it’s definitely an interesting cave, I’m kinda obsessed with it currently honestly 😂
Another crazy adventure with the dude of minerals 🤠🦎🤠

This here was gruesome

I just watched a couple videos of people getting into cave and never coming out. I’m glad this one wasn’t your story too.
Can you source the info? I’d love to read up about that, I listened to a podcast about this cave but that’s the only info out there I’ve been able to find

The real cheat code is being lanky, if you can comfortably put your hand and one foot on the ground you’ll have a much easier time
How far down is that Terminator? how long is the trip you made?
Not very far down, a couple hours maybe not extremely long. The trip we finish it though will be a 12 hour trip atleast
That cave will always make me uncomfortable. I'm glad I bailed on the return trip!
I remember when I got home from the first trip I was extremely baked and was thinking about that canyon squeeze and was getting nauseous from just the thought of it 😂 it’s pretty crappy dude now you know how I feel about that falling apart death trap y’all tried to drag me too
Is there another way out or would you have to turn around and come back through the terminator if you had made it?
Oh yeah it’s back through the terminator, all that water goes somewhere though so I’m sure there’s an exit somewhere just a matter of finding it or more realisticly fitting through it

Where's Edward?. Get the action adventure twins in there. Love to see you team up with those dudes
Edwards doing his own thing he seems like he’s doing good which makes me happy, team kinda broke apart at the end of 23’ and now me Ryan Alex n Cade try and get together when we can, I’m actually moving down there in a couple months so all hell is about to break lose 😂
Yall spidermud otters do love to Push it 😊
Always a good time with Dave 😂
Man, if snyone broke their leg down there, they'd either die down there or heal down there
Dude… the first time I was back there I had that exact thought and it made me sick to my stomach thinking about
This is what yall are wanting to get me into??
Yes 😂 it’s cool trust me!
Would it be doable/ethical to bring tools down to open it up a little more or no?
Doable yes, ethical depends on the person. Lawful would depend on where it's located... 🤠
@Underground_Adventures makes sense, thanks for the response 🤙
In my opinion it wouldn’t be worth it, you’d have to take care of a couple thousand feet of wall but in certain sections a chisel away of an edge would make it easier…. But where’s the fun in that 😂
Whats the name of this cave....i may have missed it if it was mentioned earlier
Indiana blanket monster cave
I think you overpaid for that $7 rope but the temu deal on the ascenders and that homemade wooden figure eight was really a value. 🤣👍 Take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints. Happy Caving guys stay safe and "SEND IT".
Dude those wooden 8s give me splinters you need to try out the plastic ones 👌👌
Do you have Cash App?
Safe Journey!
Have a great day!!!
I do not, I got Venmo but I’m weird about putting my bank info to a bunch of apps
I understand challenging yourselves but this is ridiculous very unnecessary imo.
Me n Dave just like doing this kind of stuff, I’m looking forward to going back!
I'm in Indiana....Where is this?!?!?! Are you crazy? Lol What about confined spaces training? We have a 30 ft. pit at work & had to have extensive training. BE CAREFUL!!
Only the law of the cave 😂
Dude a 30 ft pit at work sounds like the best job ever 😂
Yikes...! I just don't like that cave. It looks painful and not fun at all. Torturous, even.
I'd rather you not go back there, but its your life and this is your thing of course. Just sayin.
Ahh yeah I can definitely understand where you’re coming from, I like this kinda shit unfortunately 🤷♂️
Wow stay calm 😳oh no he didn’t just say that 😊did he not follow his own advise 😊 thanks for almost dying ❤️🩹 for content, ❤ watching 😊
Haha no kidding, I think “almost dying” is pretty dramatic but it woulda been a hell of a situation lol
