Another great alternative to this plugin is Beatformer by Accusonus. It works almost exactly like Parallel Aggressor. I picked it up in a bundle which included Regroover Pro and Rhythmiq, all by Accusonus. I HIGHLY recommend all three of these plugins for sample heads. Trust me, check them out. Thanks for the demo Filt!
A Plug-in I put on pretty much every project (No matter if it's trap or boom bap or whatever) is the Supercharger by NI. It has these 2 BUTTONS - Punch and Dirt. It also has a normal compressor with it which is also really nice sounding, but you don't have that much control over the compressor. For real idk what kinda black magic this Plug-in uses but it makes everything knock at least 50% harder
@@ProdbyGrimeyred I honestly never thought about doing it until I heard a mixing engineer talk about parallel processing. When I stumbled on to this plugin it saves a lot of steps for busing. I like it until I don’t like it. Time will tell
This seems cool but I'm viewing this video from my phone without headphones so the changes appear subtle to me so I might have to preview the free version on my pc to hear the full effects to see if I like it. As far as VSTs the only one I have is the software that came with Native Instruments M32 midi controller. I do hope you upload last night Wedobeatsflip Sample Challenge #10 showcase to TH-cam so I can send the link to everybody. 👍

I’m literally using it right now on my drums. And on the mix bus as well 💎💎💎💎💎

Why on the bus and not on just the drums?
@@ProdbyGrimeyred for my mixes it just gives it some more body. It’s subtle but it’s a warm saturation blended with the original mix.

love your videos Jfilt, can you do a video about drum layering?
thanks for the request
Thanks for the video! Have you tried the quick sampler and the new drum machine in Logic 10.5? They’re awesome!
yep
Lately Sinnah is my most used VST and it's free, it's a soft synth with a lot of unusual parts and weird presets

Favorite plugin may be XO by XLN, or Triton (Korg). Man, there's so many great plugins there's really no wrong answer.
