    If I am not sure if I am hungry or not I imagine a bowl of cooked veggies. If I can imagine eating them and I light up then I am hungry. If I imagine eating them and I gag then I’m not hungry maybe just anxious, bored, or insert emotions. When I am hungry everything sounds good.

    When I eat only when I am hungry any food I eat tastes so yummy 😍❤️😋😋

      Hi Debra! Thanks heaps for you comment. Emotional eating is definitely one of the biggest contributors when it comes to losing weight. We speak with a lot of people in similar situation to you, who have tried many things to lose weight, but still haven't been able to do it successfully. Majority of the time it comes down to some form of emotional eating (to varying degrees). Really glad to hear this video helped you! 🙂

    Love this video. I’ve tried this and need to get back to it. Obstacles I’ve run into: Wife: “I cooked dinner and you’re not going to eat it!?”, or social situations where everyone is eating ie dinner together or whatever and I have to explain why I’m not going to eat, or “I’m not hungry now but my lunch time at work isn’t for 5 hours so I better eat now”, or I’m not really hungry but maybe I am. Maybe it won’t hurt just to have a little of something (it turns into a lot). One thing I saw somewhere. If you think you’re hungry you’re probably not. If you think you’re satisfied you are. Thanks guys you inspired me to jump back in.

      That's very true - if you think you're satisfied you definitely are haha. And if you think you're hungry, you're probably not (unless you feel it physically).       That happens a lot. Eat a bit, then a bit more of it when hungry.

    Hi guys . I spend most of my days watching what I eat in a day videos because I didn’t think I have good eating habits. So far your video was the only one I could learn a lot from . I learned most of my eating is either habitual or emotional. I started counting the number of times I got hungry and I only get hungry physically once or twice . Depends on what time I start the day . Anyways … I think I’m going to follow your instructions and see what happens. I used to blame myself for not eating oats at 8am and a grilled chicken breast at 9pm like most of the TH-cam health gurus. And I felt so guilty if I had a donut or something sweet . I guess smart eating is also a skill. You need to practice it. Thanks for the great content .

    If I have a lot fat, should I ever be hungry till I slim down?

      From my experience and I have over 125 lb still to lose. Sometimes I am not hungry for a day and a half or two days but I wait till I'm hungry other times I'm hungry and then 10 minutes later it goes away I just wait till I know I'm really hungry and then I eat it's strange though it really is strange
