The OG 3D Saturn controller is God tier comfortable and functional. Amazing controller that had a chip in it that hasnt been reverse engineered.
Im sure the retrobit one is fine, but there's no way its as good.

I bought this exact controller (from Stone Age Gamer), I can confirm it works perfectly on Evercade VS, all buttons map fine...
apparently it has a Switch mode too, but I forgot to test that... 🤣

Does this still have the original retrobit issue where it doesn't work when you use the action replay cartridge?

I was so excited for this controller but crushed when I got it home and realized there was absolutely no wired mode available. I get wireless interference on my home, so using it on my PC just wasn't a great experience. Which is so frustrating because conceptually this is my ideal gamepad.

A lack of a wired mode is indeed a bummer.

Is it true that there are some 3D games that this controller does not function with? I believe it was an Adam Koralik, Archades Games, or Madlittlepixel video I was watching when these released that mentioned incompatibility.

First I've heard of it. I'll look into it.

It's amazing how bad this controller is. No analog triggers and the Z and C buttons are just l1/r1 repeated. SDL has support for extra buttons, and while "legacy", directinput is still supported on a lot of devices and softwares. "but it's for Nintendo switch" and so is the majority of 8bitdo controllers, yet they have working triggers. What a sham.
