Thank you for such clear instructions for this beginner hat tutorial. Just what i needed. I would like to ask, how would i make it a bit bigger like for a newborn? Im new at knitting and have no idea. Thanks
Thank you for your lovely comment I do have a video on a newborn hat. It’s not made from top to bottom but it is worked flat on 2 needles only. I prefer working top to bottom as you can’t see the decreasing lines but have a practice with this video and how you do. Good luck! th-cam.com/video/MCMSxvepXEA/w-d-xo.html
Do you think I could knit this in seed stitch or moss stitch and keep the same numbers? Or would I need more stitches? I need to make a baby hat from top to bottom. but all the ones I found are just plain knit.
reaally I apricaite your work mam so nice neat and the way you do is soo easy for me I never ever did kintng and today I did my frist work and make a cap like dis always keep tellng
Aisha Ali I think you're getting a little confused. When you knit a stitch like you would normally that's knitting in the front because you're going from the front, then to knit from the back you will start at the back. I hope this clear up the misunderstanding.
This is a great video! If I'm knitting a hat for an adult do I need to continue increasing the crown part?
