This is definitely a great video on one of my favorite topics. Being mindful of intervals, or the distance between the notes you’re playing in the inner voices is an easy way to add variety to this concept.
Also, putting the third major concept and the third minor concept should work.
For example: putting the B and Bb below the G, and the A and Ab below the F then resolving the the original C chord.
