Got you brother. Id take that into consideration. Ear training would definitely transcend just one tutorial. However Id recommend you gain mastery of the Solfage of the basic major scale of your easiest key to play on, then later the Solfage of its chromatic scale. Practice playing these notes randomly with eyes closed and translate each sound you hear to Solfage. All the musical sounds in the world are in those 12 chromatic notes :)

Got you brother. You might be needing a DAW to be able to transpose/transcribe any song/jam you want to any key you wish and very easily.

About the destination chord, anything you do inbetween that causes you to miss hitting the destination chord - at the right time, was not executed correctly. Timing is the factor here, and sometimes less is actually more 😉

Great question. The drop 2 technique doesn't take into cognizance the type or shape of the chord you're playing in order to apply. Even if it's a C7(9)(11)(13), all that's needed to be done is to remove the second highest note from the right hand and make it your lowest note. There is also a drop 3 technique as well :) Hope this helps.

A relative minor (scale) would always have the same notes as it's relative major, hence the term "relative". The Ab Major scale has the same notes as the F natural minor scale. The same way the D minor scale has the same notes as it's relative major scale F. Hope this helps.
