You dont have to get a kill for tire to be valuable. It can force cooldowns, it’s a really good zoning ult. And if you get creative it’s basically a guaranteed kill everytime. The junkrats you go against is simply low ranked

@sctoast2483 Bob adds a 6th team member that has auto aim and does decent dmg. He can stall point himself or be a second tank for your team. Emp does 40% dmg to everyone caught in the ult, also hacking them allowing for immediate team follow up. And yes you can kill through orbital ray on an emp target sombra herself can now that the healing has been nerfed.
@sctoast2483 honestly sound barrier and transcendence should be switched as well. Cast time and the fact that zen can't die in the ult unless environmental. As well as illari ult should be s teir. Her ult is arguably the second best in the game.
This was a pretty good list. I think this is how you think of it. D/f tier: no consistent value(very rare) c tier: niche and not enough impact in almost all cases. B tier: good but inconsistent, a tier: good and consistent S: consistently great
I strongly disagree with weavers three,i think its one of the best support ultimates bcs unlike moira or zen he can use his utility during ult Moira cant use orbs,zen cant use orbs but lw can use everything i his kit and area of healing and overhealth is really useful imo
You can break his ult, and it’s stationary. Neither of those apply for the other ones you stated. It can be more eaisily killed through and isn’t as good at instantly allowing more aggression

Sure it’s not supper easy to break and you can break it by yourself with few characters(including hanzo now) but a combined team effort shreds it in like 2 seconds. It’s pretty common for it to break at higher level. It’s heal also just isn’t enough impact when people are hitting more shots.

The problem with this ranking is you judge the use of ultimate's as if every player in overwatch is an OW league player . On ranks lower than GM ultimates such as visor, dead-eye and pulse bomb are actually very useful if you have a good team . No one in gold or even plat uses dead-eye just to reload...
Visor is trash even in diamond/ masters. In any rank if you have a good support ult visor is just not going to be killing through it before the soldier dies(without a massive skill issue). Pulse bomb is probably better the higher rank you go. It’s just limited because it can be cleansed and it’s hard to hit. Deadeye is kinda mid at all ranks (above gold idk I can’t speak for that low). The rank of the last two makes sense. He isn’t saying they are bad, just that they are too inconsistent

Unless you are in gold or below, it's easy to get away from. Sleep, anti, suzu, bubble, shields, or literally any speed boost can counter it.
