Bro woke up and decided to play a lore-accurate doomfist.
We need a match with him against zbra for the title of lore doom
for more context, YES this is a high masters game BUT. it was at 4am. this helps explain why the entire match looked like a fever dream, and trust me it was just as bad to play 👍 got 19% after all that...
LOL that’s less than 1% per minute played for that game. What a joke.

And this is why OW2’s ranking system is so bad.
It should be like tf2’s, which takes into accounts kills and points captured in your final score.

You should get some consolation if you lose with insane stats like that.
Obviously numbers aren’t everything. You could shoot the tank for the whole game and have the highest DPS with almost no positive impact, so it is a bit of a slippery slope slope.

He s really fun to play but also hard. You need to rely a lot on your aim because he has an insane shotgun on the hand. Basically your ccs are used to fuck people in the face, hard thing to learn with him is to not make mistakes, go to right targets, having good awareness and thinking about your cc rotation before it even happened, cause sometimes you need to let go with him and go back to your team. I started him 3 months ago and I have so much fun, but one mistake and Im done !!!! 😆

This game looks fun because there isn't a sombra holding right click on you 24/7, trust me, don't make the mistake of taking doom as your main like I did.

@lovonix her ult being used for crowd control or as an extra life, never occurred to them. If this guy's team dove with them, it would have been an easy match. That's the biggest problem with competitive imo, you get a flood of casual players going into A RANKED COMPETITION, and then they complain that the game isn't fun. people being way too proud and thinking that they deserve to play ranked instead of casual is why overwatch keeps getting worse, because no one is willing to just tell them that they're bad.
@@genericname4575 its very annoying, because they surely make like 10 mistakes but 1 good play and thats what let them win in lower ranks, because no one punish their mistakes, when in higher ranks its all about reducing your bad plays, they dont recongnice things like "dont stagger", "regroup", "tracking enemy ults", "bad potisioning", they just shoot and hope anyone dies
To be honest i see this kind of dva gameplay in my plat games as well and i myself play like this dva so i dont think it is much crazy and their widow refusing to change even after getting bullied is quite funny

Flats spectated the other tanks pov and honestly I agree that both tanks were the only functional humans in the game 💀 mei solo ulted dva twice, even solo ulted two more times when they switched to tracer, kiriko ulted nothing like 3 different times, 😭
best example ive seen to show how it feels to play tank, you can literally have the best game of your life and lose, makes it really hard to want to play tank cause the rest of your team is what decides if you win or not and nothing you do can really change the outcome
Rubbish, tanks are carries due to how much value they have, high damage, high survivability, high cc, the highest rank i can get is on tank, followed by support, then dps, which is the case for most players. And thats plat dps.
Tanks determine most matches played, if there is a tank diff, no amount of carrying will work out. Supp and DPS diff can be carried, but not a tank diff due to there being only 1 tank player.
In this case, most of his kills were farmed off the squishy dps with little escapes (widow/ashe/reaper/soldier - which was actually the same player), this player probably has a low mouse sensitivity and would get gibbed by dive players who play diva/doom and is a high priority target in higher level games for dives to take out (i play tracer so thats what I do too), but its not enough with solo diving as doom/diva because he had a huge handicap with essentially a non-existent DPS (the mei/duno what else he was playing), and he didn't have a second dive apart from his kiriko.
Since he was playing a split strategy, eventually, dva with better damage mitigation and ult will win with a somewhat coordinated team that is usually found in higher level games. So this game was a loss from the get go due to the atypical DPS on his team.
In actual proper games, where there isn't a complete NPC, TANKS carry the games and determines the win/loss. When I play tank, I see that, I know that, I acknowledge my lack thereof compared to the opponent's tank.
Tanks blaming the team would usually mean either you have a true handicap like this match, or, you just suck and play passive and have no idea what you're doing trying to hide in the back and get your dps to take space, or LOS your supports non-stop, or mismanage your cooldowns.
Actually rewatched cos so good, no his team was ok, the last fight he whiffed a few punches and lost his tracer to diva bomb. But the loss came before due to his DPS D/C and oppo cart pushed much further than should've happened, hence that dPS looking like an NPC, and his doom ult was used without first getting a few kills to reset cooldowns. He did bully the reaper that was clearly the low mouse sensitivity player on the oppo team, but that's a low value target as that player wasn't on ashe/widow, and they had lucio, moira, tracer, and dva, good luck landing punches then, probably should've went back dva.
That's true for literally ANY class, for the simple reason that you can't kill multiple people solo in this game. The only true one shot is widow, and getting a solo kill is pretty difficult. 2v1s and above are almost impossible to win. So individual performance counts very little, if your team isn't better than the other team.
In a game like CS for context, you can win a 5v1 with 5 well placed shots and that's it.
Same can be said about any role...
Best game of his life as he uses 2 CDs to get off an all in every fight that never hit and loses object permanence as soon as Moira uses fade. The fights that he had a lot of impact was when he was on Dva taking every 1v1 possible on the dps, then suddenly forgot supports are also are squishy as well once he swapped doom. He never set up for the fights when he knew the enemy team was going to walk into him to contest cart, it’s mainly why the second to last fight took so long. And he could’ve just put 3 on to cap and punch the Dva off on the last fight. He played okay, but showed why he’s in masters a shit ton in this vod.
That game felt like a melting pot of ranks. The dps on both sides felt lower than the rest of the lobby. Also, that renon dps on his team looked like he dced. I kinda wish we could see his pov because he only had 4.6k dmg. Also, his supports kept him alive for so long in what looks like a 4v5 scenario for much of that last round.
Games at 4am be that way lol I swear the 4v5 unlocks OWL level players sometimes at that rank. Want that dub bad.
It's 4 am half these players are probably sleep deprived and should be heading off

I’ve said it for years, stop win based, give performance based. Yes, sometimes you’ll have off days, when you do, play quick play and practice and have fun.
But it's not plausible. What would you take as "good performance."? Playing well doesn't always equate to stats, so how would you calculate performance then? What about different playstyles? How would that be a factor? What about different characters?
It simply wouldn't work, even though in theory it's a good idea.
22:10 I can't believe jay really say that dps has felt like the most useless role. When tank, has been dubbed as a cosmetic role almost from the get-go of overwatch 2. It's even better that he's spectating a tank who popped the fuck off and did the best they've probably ever done, but ultimately it was not enough. It's like as a tank & support main, dps has been the fucking deciding factor if you win or lose. As long as the tank & supports are somewhat competent enough it's just a glorified 2v2 of the dps.

What a fuuuckinnng good rythm and awereness !!! I enjoyed watching this ! And YES, you can survive a DVA bomb, the wheel from junkrat too, most of the big ults you can survive them with doom and also charge your fist, and no, doom caracter is not dumb, its actually really hard to play because if you fuck up your ccs, then you are done in 3 sec and it requires a real good game sense to go on the right target, get the pick, survive, and go back to your team. The ennemy team kept charging his punch (I would advise anybody to think it's exactly the same as a genji deflect, just dont shoot it !!!!). And they didnt go for Ana, who is a real good counter for him. I would have just change the doom pick at the end of the first or second round, as I felt his team couldn't follow up on the backline to kill their healers/dps and they struggled to down dva, also maybe their attention was a bit lower because they were playing for 30 min, I know for myself that after 20 min of a hectic game I usually start to make mistakes as my attention is lower. Last round was insane, he did his best but his team got picked fast and he couldn't really do shit anymore at the end.
you can tell when someone doesnt play doom, easily one of the most vulnerable characters; especially tank characters. Back when you could basically get one shot by a pulse when u had neither punch or slam and ur just a stationary target (which is impossible to miss due to hitbox) was horrendous. Allowing players the ability to block a pulse adds skill as the tracer should have to play around cooldowns for an effective pulse - as doom players have to play around constant CC's if they are to get any value.

I had a game in overwatch one on junkertown that went for like 40 mins. It was when shield damage counted, and I finished the game (on bastion and tracer) with 107 kills and like 70k damage.
I had 52 kills 22 assists 9 deaths and 16.1k damage as Moira 17.3k healing

@@G1ng3rBreadManplaying the objective is actually the less efficient way to play if the enemy has highground advantage, simply because they have an easier time shooting at you than you shooting at them, so he was doing the right plays there.
That's why on higher ranks you don't see everyone stacked on the cart, but rather 1 pushing and the rest taking map control.

Genuinely the most heartbreaking game that proves what we all believed. It truly doesnt matter how good you are or what rank you are, if you solo q you will be shafted by the matchmaking system until you are at the brink of uninstalling. The doom did EVERYTHING every fight and still lost. 1v9 and was so close to winning
This just confirmed something I thought was just a me thing. Playing tank in season 9 feels pointless because no matter what I do it’s just not enough to win games anymore. I make my share of mistakes, but often times I play better than most of my teammates. This guy playing out of his mind and dropping historic numbers and still losing had to feel so bad cus no matter how hard you try as tank, it’s just not enough

The widow died twice every fight. She’d die, get rested, immediately die. Happened 7 times in the first quarter.

Widow players have to be some of the most stubborn in the game.
And also easily triggered 😂. At least in my experiences against them especially if you kill them as support. Dps often seem to be the most triggered folks and sometimes over nothing more than one death if that. Sometimes they get tunnel vision so it is even easier to kill them since i just stick with the team if they go sombra, tracer etc in swap. Sometimes they stay widow though so in comes the dva through their spot or a junk tire or something else to annoy then further.

The best feeling in the world is playing doom and being unkillable, getting 3000-4000 over health in a single round, doesn’t happen to me often but when it does I just think I’m suddenly the number one doom 😂

The most kills I've had by someone in my game was by a Genji; he had 99 kills by the end of the ranked match.

Jay supports have utility. They are supports. Supports also save your life. It just happens to be healing.
The most damage and kills I’ve had in a game was like 50 elims and 20k damage, to basically almost double that is absolutely insane to me. Granted It was in a quick match.
This tank understands what’s more important and would step out of his role to take care of certain heroes. People don’t understand this but Mercy is still such a huge problem if you don’t take her out every chance you get. This Tank I would have on a team any day

Mei gets run on this map because of all the potential CC she can do and blocking off exits making the team take detour routes allowing for more payload management
He was much better on DVA, his Doom play should've been punished waaaaaaay more lol, he just burned CDs and lived somehow

Genjis name Eros. Reminds me of the poor cat Eros which lived in turkey and good killed (trampled to death) by an asshole in a house complex. A camera got his action and he went to jail and received the highest penalty ever for the torture
Yeah he scored the perfect match, crazy teammates that don't seem to die ever and fend off any dive whilst he can go dive the enemy backline without getting focused most of the time because they're trying to help their own tank on the dive and so the enemies kind of underestimated him.
But yeah I think the real god level players are his teammates making so much pressure without their tank nearby and allowing a tank to have fun and seemingly solo roll in season 9 which is practically impossible so yeah props to his busted team.
Those long comp games is where I got 70+ kills before

In lower rank i feel like it's more common to have 1 dude dominating, i had a Mauga game around 90 kills where the whole team had 50-60 kills, it was soo dumb but so fun
