    Parupalli Kashyap created history at the 2012 Olympic Games in London when he became India's first male player to reach the quarter-finals of the men's singles Badminton event. Kashyap won all of his matches at the group stage, surprising the world with his defeat of Vietnam's Nguyen Tien Minh. In the Pre-quarters he knocked out Sri Lanka's Niluka Karunaratne by 21-16, 15-21, 21-14. It was not until the Quarterfinals when Kashyap's incredible Olympic tournament came to an end after his loss to top seed Lee Chong Wei in straight sets.

      No one says it's a girl's game.. Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu won medals so it's more famous as female sport but in Reality, males and females are equal. Lakshya Sen will win Olympic medal, then it'd be famous in men too

    In india badminton is not really men's sport from start that's why there are not many names

    • @sharvarikhamkarkhamkar7971
      @sharvarikhamkarkhamkar7971 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ya true becoz for India girls has got more medal in badminton so people in India think it is a girls dominant sport but thou in other countries they don't think like this.
      That doesn't mean that if this respective gender has got more medal than the other gender so these sport belong to these respective gender. This sport is meant for everyone. Hope people in our country India will understand.
