- The Mutua Madrid Masters 2024 official WTA Ladies draw is out now. This event in Madrid, Spain and is the fifth WTA1000 of 2024. The best players in the world will be competing including Naomi Osaka, Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, Iga Swiatek, Emma Raducanu and Coco Gauff.

Good draw for Iga. Only tough opponents in her half are Haddad Maia and Penko. But currently they are not in good form. She should reach the final without any trouble. Possibly 3rd 1000 title loading for Iga in this season.
as always ..most of the time she has cake walk ..even if not from the beggining it tuns into one...Ao, dubai, doha, indian wells
I don't think she will win this tournament. Most likely Rybakina or Sabalenka will win. This surface doesn't quite fit 1ga's play style. Iga Swiatek needs slower courts like in French Open to set up her shots.

Ostapenko is 3-6 in Madrid and never been past R3. Her working how to play in Madrid would be a miracle.

She was riding on a wave of farewell emotion in Miami and Charleston. And you have to remember she was beating a still-recovering Rybakina during the final in Miami. Nothing against her, but I don't think she will be as successful here in Europe.

The problem with Rybakina is she is very prone to health issues. She was well on her way to probably lift the title at Rolland Garros for the first time last year when a mysterious bug halted her journey in the third round. If you could recall, she beat both Swiatek and Ostapenko in Rome prior to that. I wish her team can take better care of her, she was sick in Dubai and Indian Wells as well.

Also IGa plays best when there is little expectation. Few experts picked her first IW (it was Sabalenka, Rybakina or Gauff) and she won. All experts got egg on their face when they picked her for Miami.

As life shows there are no easy draws. Though 1GA in the pat tours had the toughest draws repeatedly. Coco had the easiest draw on paper in Stuttgart and barely made it through two matches so did Sabalenka. One has to be very carefull stating easy draw...best of luck to all players in Madrid. Great work on the video Cam, as always! Yep, easy draw for Swiatek, don't see any challenges, even Penko and Svitolina both haven't been good lately at all. Toughest for Sabalenka, i'm afraid she will struggle, but hope i'm wrong. Rybakina is my pick, but also not an easy draw for her.

I don't like Rybakina's group. Alexandrova beat Rybakina in January 2024 (and Swiatek in March 2024). Blinkova also beat Rybakina in January 2024 at the Australian Open. Kalinskaya beat Rybakina at Madrid Open's first round last year. And Kostyuk will be out for revenge freshly coming off of Stuttgart.
There is absolutely no way she loses to blinkova... The only reason blinkova won in ao was bcz of rybakinas ankle problem and Im pretty sure she never beats rybakina again

Sabalenka probably won’t make it to the semifinal.
This will likely be a rematch between Rybakina and Collins.
Rybakina played a lot in Stuttgart, can become tired.Świątek was not prepared for Stuttgart because of Switzerland deliberately choosing hard court for Fed Cup Iga had to play to be able to play Olympics.She started on clay much later than normally, on Monday during Stuttgart Open. Should reach optimal form around 2nd half of Madrid/Italian Open.
Also, Madrid and Stuttgart are not real clay. Iga won Stuttgart because it was indoors. Madrid has special conditions, favorizing fast-court players.
Real multi-layered clay courts are in Rome and RG. Stuttgart and Madrid are dusted clay courts. This is why many Madrid winners lost early in RG

Stuttgart was only 4 matches, Rybakina will be fine to play Madrid. I am much more worried about Rybakina playing Rome.
Iga is not on Rybakina’s side of the draw this time, I am talking about the semifinal.
Iga has struggled for most of the year so far compared to 2022 and 2023, the clay season will be no different.

Rybakina is healthy, relatively rested, lean and mean (in shape/form) like never before. I think that if she stays in that mindset, she can and will beat ANYONE. She’s fine on clay. It makes her more patient and consistent. I think she will win it.
I happen to think that Swiatek will be challenged here in Madrid in her half of the draw. One never knows when Ostapenko will be a threat. There are more players in her half of the draw that can trouble her on this Madrid clay. We shall see how everything transpires in the next 10 days. Iga knows better than not see every player as a worthy opponent.

She is really trying.I think it's against customary rules to exchange numbers with a client.If she wants to be Mrs.Dio on 29th September,she should sit outside with her friend a quarter to 4pm or at the upper floor opposite to the kitchen a quarter to 7pm.

you can adjust the play speed on youtube. Click the cog wheel , then change the play speed to .75 . i hope that helps!

Usually clay cater to players who volleys a lot & are more technically wise such as Swiatek because they have more times to prepare for selections of shots. But Rybakina is different. Looking forward to see Wozniacki doing good in this tournament✌️❤️
