Oh, I love that you added the teaspoon of honey! Thats how my Mom made it. The honey mellows the dressing, sooo good, I think best the day its made. We dont peel the apples. First time I made it, I called my Mom and said it didnt taste like hers. She asked, did you add honey? No, I hadnt! Since then, Ive always added it. Thank you, Sue!❤ i love this more than when I was a child too..
That looks delicious!! 😋 ... I will be doing this salad today ... good thing I have all the ingredients 😂... love your cooking & the way you explain things... thank you & God bless you 🙏 💋
Started the green beans before daylight while I made Waldorf Salad. They really are good. My eyebrows were raised to my hairline in doubt, but they really are good. Having tonight with a grilled. Lambchop I already have ready to go in freezer. Debating on baked potato microwaved. Yam to go with.
Hello Sue I'm with you... I love the 4 full seasons and Fall 🍂🍁 is my favorite 😊. Weather in NC has been nice since we had all that rain ☔ and wind 🌬️ from Tropical storm Debby. But... Humidity is on its way back. My Aunt Linda used to make this salad during the holidays. I really need to try fixing it myself. I believe that is what I'm going to do. Have a wonderful weekend 💞. Continue blessing 🙌🙏
My mother made a similar but more simple salad every week! Just apples, bananas and pineapple with mayonnaise! I love it! Yours looks delicious too! I will try it soon!
My mom used to make Waldorf salad a lot and I never touched it. Something about apples and mayo turned me off. She also makes cranberry Jello salad with cranberry sauce, pecans, crushed pineapple and apples and that I like. She cuts the apples into little matchsticks and uses strawberry or cherry Jello.
My mother really liked waldorf salad. Growing up I did not like mayonnaise and I would have to say I did not care for celery or pecans in "salads" either. I had an aunt who made a cranberry salad every Thanksgiving and Christmas with pecans and maybe walnuts. Everyone loved it, but I did not. I can hear my mother now, "you don't like it?? what?? why??" : ) I need to make waldorf salad bc I have not had this since my mother would have made it and really she had stopped making it. I bet the little bit of honey is good in it too. Now I do like mayonnaise and all the things in the salads. My husband doesn't care for celery either. I sent you a message yesterday saying that waldorf salad is one of the things we typically eat on New Year's Day but I was mistaken, we usually have watergate salad on New Year's which is the one with the pistachio pudding and pineapples and marshmallows. Thank you for the video!
I have a special needs nephew. His name is Blake. I love him very much. He just celebrated his 30th birthday in February. He calls me on his face time daily. I love him very much. Gods blessing over all of our special needs friends.❤❤❤

I have this cookbook
We don't have much of a fall either here in ozark mo.
You are so cute!!❤ absolutely love your videos
I must be wrong, but doesn't Waldorf Salad have halfed grapes in it? This looks delicious and I will definitely try!
You can add grapes or even walnuts in it too😊
Never really been a fan of fruit type salads before. I like more savory type salads, that's just me lol
Everything but the celery. ❤
Harold is very picking with his food
What's the point in using red apples when you remove the beautiful peel!? You NEED that color!
I chunk my apples and never peel them
I think I'd rather stick to the raisins for this salad. I don't care for craisins or cranberry anything.
Editing would be appreciated. Thanks.
Love you but wish you would have your prep work (chopping ) done before filming.
