Mullin is a maestro for that goal. When his shot didn’t go in, didn’t drop his head. At the opportunity to keep the ball in, didn’t run too desperately which made all the opposition started to walk and expected the throw in, but once he connected to the ball, in a single quick second turned around and delivered a pin point accurate cross into the open Aaron James for a class header. Zero opposing players expected or saw it coming in time. Friggin masterfully orchestrated. Man I hope Mulls gets back his scoring form soon
You can see his attitude changing. Instead of getting upset at missing his goal last Saturday, he stayed in the game, and was ready for a return cross. You feel things are about to change for him.
@@ramireza6904 People literally said the same thing at exactly the same time last year. Then he went on an incredible goal streak. He's got a month and a half to figure it out, so it's all good. You can see how much more relaxed and in tune with the game he is than just a month ago. And we really don't know if there have been any after affects of the summer's surgery. Will probably come out in the documentary.

Pleased to see Mullin getting that fabulous assist. He really needs some positive results to get his self confidence back and his mojo restored. He's had a rough ride since he broke ribs in the USA.
Brad Foster, what a debut, superb. Wonderful on both ends from Aaron James. Paul Mullin's beautiful cross. Tom O'Connor's header at the very end to stop the equalizer.
Mullins is a class different act to the others who just seem to walk around in a dream parkinson wants to think what mu with Bobby Charlton moved him from striker to midfield play maker who still was scoring but the important part was his ability to control a game and dictate it from midfield
@@LOSTshowfanThanks. I didn’t realize so few people attend if it’s not a regular league match. That’s very surprising. I thought all the games (both league and non-league) consistently sold out.
@@wizardglick7762 this trophy isn't that serious so most people don't care. If it were to be the FA Cup, it might be sold out or very close to selling out.
Fact on Tuesday Night Wrexham had the Highest Attendance of all the Tuesday Night EFL Cup Fixtures. 3119 vs next largest 1989 ( Exeter v Birmingham ) To give you a little more context the smallest attendance of the evening was a 10th of Wrexhams at 321 people dragging themselves out to watch their teams Thanks for your question and your continued support of Wrexham
It is a Cup, kind of like the Caribao Cup. Wrexham has chosen to play a number of players who wouldn't see much time in league games to rest the ones who play a lot. This is a typical move, especially for a team from a higher league playing a lower one. There are a lot of games in December and rest is important.
Completely changed 11 from Burton but any Wrexham player can play in this competition. This is the same cup competition where they beat Salford and Wolves U21 and drew Port Vale formally known as the Bristol Street Motors Trophy now the Vertu.
The simplest explanation, this was mostly the senior reserve team. Wrexham has 5 keepers, today we saw Bradley Foster. Wrexham also has 31 outfield players. Players need playing time in actual competition to improve. The majority of the players you saw today are the ones you wont see in League 1 as the league is more important.
I can see reading the comments that there is some Confusion on a League match vs a mid week Cup Match and the games Attendance and empty Stands To add some context, of all the Tuesday Night EFL Cup Fixtures Wrexham v Crewe had the highest attendance 3119 v next highest of 1989 vs lowest attendance of 321 I hope that helps
@@jianpanglam570 True, there is the old proverb stating that beggars can´t be choosers, in football it´s different, that means champions can´t be choosers either. With the history of football in mind a lot of teams have scraped home trophies just by doing what they needed, 1-0 is perfectly fine.

Another gritty 1-0 win for Wrexham, the defence is holding up really well in league 1. Great cross from Mullin
@Cybren2000 I understand that. I was talking about their defence this season

Why's the stadium empty?
Why are the stands so empty?
It was a Tuesday evening kick off time. 3000+ attendance is very respectable.
It's not a regular league match. It's a trophy competition in an earlier round. Typically attract fewer people until the competition progresses.
