This was a awesome project but with all the modifications, you might as well had used a regular base Trailblazer. Why cut up and modified a perfectly good Trailblazer SS, to install another LS V8 and T56 transmission?
that's exactly what I was going to say, why did you take a beautiful SS to strip it and there's nothing left of an SS except the SS badge on the steering wheel... a Trailblaser or an Envoy with a basic 5.3 would have been perfect does the job and is less "rare" than a nice clean SS like this.
Fr. But it makes sense if I remember this correctly- The base model and EXT TBs, Envoy, and the 5 other cars on the GMT360 platform have the front axle go through the oil pan. So you'd have to track down a 2wd TB that isn't beat to hell and back or redo the entire front end to either maintain or delete the 4wd system. Sorce- I own an 04 trailblazer LT, and I work on it myself. Anything to do with the front suspension is a pain in the ASS
The Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS also had some cousins that can be modified as well, such as the GMC Envoy of the time, as well as the Buick Rainier, Saab 9-7X Aero, and the Isuzu Ascender. The 5.3 L Vortec V8 engines are nothing to sneeze at as well.
Wow I wish I would've saw this sooner. Did you guys really throw away the interior I can really use it I'm putting together a 92 blazer sport with the 5 spd manual and that interior is too perfect. Anyways AWSOME build I'm literally building my buddies 07 tbss so watching this is entertaining af😊😊 great vid!!
I like watching these videos where everything just goes right... that's classic tv... when people put things together looking like an easy job when it actually took almost infinite hours of elbow grease, sweat, blood and tears love the content I'd rice that mf up even more than that tho ayy lmao
Problem is you did all that work and didnt add any steering angle.... thats why you kept spinning out, there wasnt enough steering angle to keep from spinning out and being able to bring it back when it gets real sideways.
529 hp from a crate 6.0 that has over 400hp supposedly holley ecu and blower only made that through a 6speed someone cant tune or something else is going on
@@amagedoncorelone lol truth be told I expected more power myself, but also looked like they used stock intake and fuel rails, I think if those were also upgraded the power would increase that much more
This was quite a tone-deaf build to the requirements, needs and overall sub-culture of drifting, especially if you're just learning. Regardless it was entertaining to watch. Hood tutorial was the most useful part of this. 3/10
What changed about the host's personalities ? All the bouncing around and fake enthusiasm. It was fine the way it was. I know these guys actually enjoy working on cars, no need for the tiktok level cheese. Also, when you are putting parts back on a car alongside new parts, could you have an intern run them through a parts washer or the sandblast cabinet and maybe a rattlecan makeover? Looks unnecessarily cheap
exactly my thoughts. I hoped we were over the 2000s fake car show hosts. It was so much mor enjoyable to watch without the weird interview shots. Please go back to the calm enjoyable fabrication show we had before.
You’re on the wrong page if you’re worried about some damn tire smoke Mr retired Francis cooper. Jesus yeah burnouts are causing the ozone layer to deteriorate not all the chemical plants and bullshit the government pumps out huh? Get the hell out of here you boomer.

Because they wanted to used a ss stop complaining
@@nissanbrown6144 bite my shiny metal ass!🤪
Cause nobody knows how to actually modify an LS engine properly

I love my TBSS but that 4 speed trans really slowed us down and kept back all that potential
if they came with a 6l90 we would be ANIMALS
selectable tcase would be nice too
You should wrap that hood with an American flag with the amount that thing waves in the wind.
very cool to see this suv sliding, it's like an ballerine elephant 😆😆
They do make the coolest commercials ever.
Great work, but with all of the mods, why did you ruin an SS?? You could have done the same to a base model vehicle.
Was the truck bone stuck when you guys were doing donuts in the beginning?
they guys from engine power are gonna be wanting the wrench back

That hood was looking good at first. Adding steel to a carbon hood defeats the point of carbon and it still was flopping in the wind.
BEST AMERICAN SUV!!!!!!

I’ve got a project for you guys. How about an 05 gmc Yukon Denali xl swapping a 6 speed manual for the 4l65e but keeping it awd
Bet that thing is heavier than stock now

Yu work with a adapter or some Spacers on the rims ...? its stock with 6 lug nuts , but showin a 5hole Wheel here .. ;-)
It looks like they used adapters.
Where can I get some of those costume upper control arms?
2006 Chevrolet Trail blazers
0:01 Intro
38:50 Exterior Tranformation
49:56 Grip For The Drift
why the reality tv cuts? this is youtube not Discovery channel
These things are so cool
100%
Have any of these parts for sale ?
Straight up clown energy modding this whip.
Good name for the show carcus
Carcass
When did this become a reality show? Are they gonna start arguing?
Not gonna lie, I like this show better than XOR. No offense to Eliza Leon, she was cool.

maybe, but it was also only 5 pounds of boost and the supercharger was designed for a C5 vette
exactly NA power with a blower.. time to celebrate 😂

What was the point of that cloud of smoke? I'm not surprised that the environment is suffering. Please act your age and not your shoe size.

Looking good Karen. You should go live in cave away from all this horrible stuff.
