Hi Wyse, I like your lovely recipes but confusing how I measure table spoon of butter, I live in London, we use grams or ounces here to measure ingredients, and they’re accurate to measure and get perfect results. Baking cake, your lovely recipes not only watched by Americans, So please please also give recipes in grams, many thanks ,and God bless.from London
I was just in my yard, looking at my 3 pear trees and their pears that are almost ready to harvest, and wondering what I could do with them. I came inside, checked my phone and saw your video, and loved this idea! Thank you for sharing! Love the idea of cardamom too!
My grandmother made pear pies instead of apple pie. She had a native pear tree. Native pears are very hard and only good for making pies and preservatives. She would add pineapple to her pear perseveres. Yum.Thanks
The way I check pears for ripeness is on the shoulders of the stem end. When they give a little when you press them, the pear is ripe. This method never fails.
I got pears from a neighbour and they were so ripe I had to do something with them. I have this crisp In the oven in a rustic pan instead of the skillet and I doubled the crisp recipie part since it was over a larger area. This is starting to smell delicious and won’t spoil is for up and coming apple pie since this is cardamom instead of cinnamon. So easy to make and no pears for the chance to rot or go to waste !!! Thank you !!! From Southern Ontario.
YUM ... I'd rather eat a crisp than a pie any day of the week ... and the cardamom - brilliant !!!! can't wait to try and taste it - thanks ever so much for sharing
I absolutely adore you. You are naturally funny and you have taught me so much. I love pears and I never thought about making a pear crisp. Until now. Thank you Kaleb. ❤️🙏☮️
Thanks so much , kales, I am from India’s,living in London. We use cardamom in sweet and savoury dishes in curry a lot. I like to try new recipes, and yours in simple English ,teaching us, many thanks, best wishes for your good health and prosperity,
I have never heard of pear crisp, pie or bake before. I may try this. And cinnamon ice cream??? Interesting! Never have heard of that either. Where did you get that?
I love this! Usually see apple crisp but I love pears.♥️ What crunchy item could I use to replace the nuts? My daughter has a nut allergy and I can’t find a good substitute. Usually I just don’t use nuts.

Cardamom is for autumn. Cinnamon for winter.💕🍃🍁🍂
Cardamom for every season, good flavours.
Instead of nuts take seeds; pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds. Great for autumn. Nuts are for winter.💕🍃🍁🍂🍂🍁🍂
I'm wondering where's the recipe for the cinnamon ice cream to ToP this wonderful deliciousness?😋

Yummy 😋
Where do you find fresh nutmeg?
Check in the spice section of your local grocery store. They should have ground and whole.
I can't eat cardamom. Could I substitute allspice, or something else? This looks absolutely wondferful.

You’re not pretentious! 😀. 50 years of baking, and I’ve never bought/used cardamom. I think it’s time. 🕑🍐 😀
