Great little truck! We have a 2004 that needs some clear coat love but otherwise it's excellent! Gas mileage is pretty rough but still a great truck and fun to drive!

I picked up a gen 1 tacoma for only $2,000, fixed the leaking valve cover and now its a $6-8k truck, looking to restore some interior and exterior bits and ill be all good

Just bought a solid running 2003 Tacoma. I call it my Black Rat. I have been getting parts anywhere and everywhere. It is turning into a fun project one dollar at a time. Comparing cost to new I will take this fixer anytime. Don't have a garage to work in so I am anxious for spring to arrive.

That P0420 code is usually either the cat or the O2 sensor still a great deal though

can i ask how the process goes when going thru a broker to bid on a car. I went to most of the brokers website to search the inventory to find my lot number and nothing is popping up
We are really only familiar with salvagereseller.com but you can search with a lot number on their site.
I'd put that up for 15k, even thought it might take a while to sell

As usual, you made it look easy again!!! I see you added 10HP by adding that cold air intake. I heard if you put a TRD sticker on side it adds 10-15HP as well...lol. Great Job and keep'em coming. I believe that thing will net a great return on investment. I pay alot of money to have my cars detailed and even if I spend $150 on a steamer to do the job, I still save money.
