Your videos are awesome! Going to check it out at the auction, showing the live auction, and bringing it home. All in one video. Save more 1st gens they’re incredible trucks!
That's a great deal for a supercab 4x4! Absolutely love these 1st gen Tacos. I've got a 98 myself with 183k on her, that truck has been amazing. Fourwheeled the crap out of it through highschool and every deer season. Always worked out of it whether that be for cutting wood, landscaping, construction, welding, etc. 6 years having it and a lot of awesome memories, nothing will make me sell it. Just recently bought a 1997 3rd gen 4Runner with the 3.4 in it as well. She's rocking 243k on her but still plenty of life left. Never thought I would like Toyota's until I got my Tacoma, been an addict ever since. I really hope you guys keep it, couldn't ever imagine parting with mine.
I love these 1st gens they’re built almost like land cruisers, they’re just so solid! The door jamb sound is like no other haha congrats on the new purchase I can’t wait to see this build!
You really scored a good one with this truck. It looks like it’s missing its trd sticker which probably saved you some money when you bought it so others wouldn’t pay more. this one has the rear push button locking axle. I am pretty sure I caught the button on the dash board. Those are valuable themselves. I miss my 01 taco bad. Great trucks
Good to see you on another project. I am sure you're gonna do your magic on this toyota. They are such great trucks and usually sell themselves. I can't wait to see the finished project. You do great work!!!
Are you going to do a radiator support replacement? If you're going to could you make a step to step tutorial? I'm in the same boat, my truck was totaled because of getting hit in the front.
We needed another truck to work on in our spare time. We have big things planned for the channel we hope to be here for a long time! We appreciate you !
Despise Co-Part. These morons destroyed my 05 3500 dodge. They ruptured my fuel tank and spilled 30 gallons of diesel fuel on the ground . It was there for a insurance claim ( courtesy of liberty mutual) . That rupture happened by a careless forklift operator. Due to that incompetence it sent my vehicle over to a total loss...

Man you have a treasure! Thanks for watching
Do 3rd gen please
I like this tacoma! Are you going to completely restore this one?
Depends on how it turns out and what it needs, but we are really digging this one. We appreciate you!
A ARB bumper would be totally bitchen!!! Love the gen 1 taco. I call mine the red dragon from old school from way back when…
The red dragon is a nice truck! I don’t know if we can compete! Thanks for watching!
I have a 2003 Toyota just like this one. My damage is all of bumper and grill. Where would I start to get reasonable parts?
I ordered all the parts for this truck from eBay motors.
Thanks
Looking pretty nice but 4k was a lot for a salvaged title 04 tacoma with such high mileage.
$4k was a lot for sure, I really wanted it so I just kept clicking that button..
How much did you pay for it? I have the same exact truck
With fees and all it was right around $5k
Yes fix it
It mine fix

The loader for sure do a lot of damage, makes my skin crawl when I see the forks scraping on everything underneath, sorry about your truck.
