    No joke. I just made this and it is mind blowing how much it tastes like coffee. I am super sensitive to caffein. I’m nervous drinking it as it tastes so much the same. I pray this works well with my body. 🤞♥️☕️

    I am one of very few people who's allergic to caffeine (hospital visit allergies). So, when I saw this post, I immediately watched it.
    I'm going to try this as soon as I store up enough date seeds. I have been using Cafix and Postum (hard to find) they both still have that bitter flavor and don't fulfill my coffee desires. I will post again once I have tried it!

    I've been throwing away so many date pits. I also wonder, if you plant them, will they grow into a palm tree? Or are the seeds killed by the long drying that dates get? That will be my next experiment.

    If tastes like coffee why not just drink coffee? Coffee is nutritious and good for the body as well. And does this date drink have the energizing effect of coffee as well?

    • @myvegankitchenlife
      @myvegankitchenlife  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This is why I choose it over regular coffee.
      Antioxidants: Date seeds contain antioxidants such as phenolic compounds and flavonoids, which help reduce oxidative stress and inflammation in the body.
      2. Rich in fiber: Date seeds are a good source of dietary fiber, which support digestive health, regulate blood sugar levels, and promote feelings of fullness.
      3. Caffeine-free
      4. Supports heart health: studies suggest that date seed extract may have cardio-protective effects, including potential benefits for lowering cholesterol levels and improving lipid profiles.
      5. Rich in nutrients: Date seeds contain various vitamins and minerals, including potassium, magnesium, calcium, and iron.
      6. anti-inflammatory properties: Compounds found in date seeds possess anti-inflammatory properties, which could benefit conditions related to inflammation, such as arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease.
      7: Also no waste: love saving money by making my own coffee after enjoying my delicious dates 🙏🏽😊♥️

      There’s no caffeine…so no it won’t keep you up …but it contains plenty of antioxidants, fiber and can improve mental clarity and athleticism.

    Do the seeds need to be in the fridge or is a regular kitchen cabinet fine?

    • @myvegankitchenlife
      @myvegankitchenlife  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great question…you can keep them in the fridge or pantry in an air tight container. However I prefer to keep in the fridge because sometimes it can take up to a month before I’m ready to roast them. I feel they stay fresher in the fridge 🤗
