We all get there at some point. I'm glad you are enjoying the videos. I often wonder what will happen should I have another debilitating crash, or complication in life. I've already dealt with it once and was lucky. Over 4 years off the bike. My balance is off. I went to a recumbent for a while. Maybe I'll end up on a trike one day, if my legs still work. Do what you can man, enjoy life, and don't things too seriously. (BROHUG)
@@sandyfitchcorbett1782 / Thanks for watching Sandy. (& thanks Sis !) It's okay to live vicariously through others. I do it all the time. Feel free to offer up any suggestions. I'm all ears. Enjoy the rest of the episodes, new or old. :rob
Nice work Rob! Such a strong intro! Loved the animation. I've had a few rocks pop me in the shin like that before, that hurts! Looking forward to the next.
Thanks…. When you do the math, of distance from tire to shin + height x speed - I’m surprised it hit me. Left a massive welt that took 4 weeks to heal up.
@@SaltyBeard_Adventures One of the sections of single track with the whooshing noise when passing trees made me feel like I was riding a speeder in a Star Wars movie. I kept waiting for Ewoks to pop out from the trees.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it..... and yes, it's a challenge riding for that many hours. I may be slow, but I try to make up for it in other ways. Stopping for a few beers isn't one of them. LOL
Whoa! That skinny trail is unnerving, yet "feels" like so much fun! Another fantastic video Rob! Great sound effects! Who knew... "Grynd" ....also good for chipmunks! You always know where the best baked goods are hiding!!😘
Great video. Sand traps and getting off to admire the foliage. I’m really jealous, wish I could do that. I will get a donut tomorrow . And ride the path down by the river in Hannibal Mo
If you are going to ride in the Interior, you should change your name to Sandy Beard. When I was riding out the Crowsnest years ago, the hottest part was from Christina Lake to Castlegar. I thought it would be cool on the descent, but it was like riding into a blast furnace or Hell itself. I never felt a hot descent before.
LOL - Sandy Beard. Yeah, those are all pretty hot valleys in the summer and hot when you drop down into them. It's amazing the difference between 25C --> 35C on a descent.
@@SaltyBeard_Adventures I've never been so hot and cold on one day as when I did Ramrod - Ride Around Mt. Ranier in One Day. Blistering heat on the climb followed by chilling cold on the descent in the shade. Everyone forgets to put back on all their clothes at the top. Fortunately, the descent doesn't take long!
Not for racing. It would be far too slow. I’m on a hardtail carbon MTB XC. Reasonably comfortable on this terrain. 100mm fork. / fat bike might have been nice in a couple of small sections, but not overall.
Loving this edit, with more narration and fun sound effects. Music cool too. Oh, and the filming. Keep ' em coming.
Thanks for the encouragement. Spread the word to help me grow!
You are an inspiration, Salty!!!!
Thanks JH - just trying to do my thing.
i'm at an age where walking can be a challenge...and i sure enjoy your bike adventures !!!

Ditto Billyt. Rob your sister turned me on to your videos. This was intense. Lol. I’m exhausted. Thank for the workout.

@@SaltyBeard_Adventures thanks rob...3 falls onto my shoulders this year has opened my eyes to safety first...
@@SaltyBeard_Adventures lol yes I do have a suggestion... Don’t ride so close to the edge! 😂 Love your creativity and enjoy your videos. Be careful!!!
Bravo 👏👏 the sunset and dusk was fantastic.
It was amazing and super warm out. Lots of deer to swerve around
Thanks for another one. Great choice of music and sound effects!
Glad you like them!

My pleasure!!
Love the sound effects.
Thanks Jim… had fun building the intro dark morning ride from scratch mixing various things.

Another epic video! Looks absolutely beautiful, but intensely challenging at the same time.

Yeah, its a tough trail in spots. Rocks, Sand, and a few unridable sections that require a good push. 🍩 😉

Donuts are important. 🤜🏼🤛🏽🤘🏼

Nice trail
It’s a classic BC route/ race.

Nice trail. Everything was good except that mc food. Hope your shin is fine
At 4:30am, choices are limited. LOL. And the shin? Took four weeks for the welt to go away. T'was a nasty smack. Stay tune for Act III
@@SaltyBeard_Adventures I definitely will watch it 👍
again first to arrive. well done me

You ever consider using a fat bike instead of a gravel bike?
