Appreciate the video. Looking to get this installed on my ‘14 ralliart. Basically stock, flashed s-sport on it and getting a catback exhaust and maybe an evo x intercooler soon. Have you had any issues with it since the flash? Also, was the mpg difference any noticeable from daily driving or moslty when stepping on it!
Hi! I was just wondering if you bought the $10 Mitsubishi reflash adapter from tactrix? It seems optional but if it’s not required it would be great to know. Thanks!
Yup! Only used launch control like twice to test it. I use the tap tap method if I want to launch now on haha, but I'm overly nervous about wear and tear on my vehicles. I'm always driving in S-Sport though :)
@@bwoycleon S-Sport and Launch control don't come on the GST Basemaps. Its a separate procedure you have to go into the transmission tune & reflash for. Essentially you switch your trans map with an Evo MR one.
Any reliability issues since install? I’ve got a 2011 that’s stock besides borla catback, and I’d like a little more zip. But as it’s my daily driver, and I commute 7 days a week, I’m scared of ruining reliability.
I drive mine every day! Put just over 20k miles on it since the pill and never had an issue! I'd recommend a quality afr guage and changing your relays to be safe, but I've never had a single hiccup. That being said, it will be a tuned car instead of a 'stock' car. So you do have to be careful and cautious. (Keep a closer eye on your oil, fluids, afr, spark plugs, etc).
Thanks for the reply. I’m gonna have to do some research into this a bit more. I was thinking of getting a Cobb boost controller, but the cost involved is making me lean towards doing the boost pill and tune. Especially since it’s a quick easy mod.
@@MakingAndGaming personally, I trust the GST basemaps more than the Cobb tunes! But research for yourself. Feel free to talk through anything with my @plagg_designs on IG, or you can find pleanty of info on the FB group. Very helpful and knowledgeable people there :)
If you're looking for MPG don't mod your car - short answer. Modding is obviously not for you if that's your first concern. These cars really don't get good mpg unless you stay out of boost entirely, and even then, it's still not great.
Hey bro, so i got 2013 ralliart, put boost pill new plugs, and a test pipe but everthing on the exhaust is still stock, do i run the flash with TBE or no?
Yes. You want to run the "Stock RA + BoostPill upgrade + TBE" Try not to drive it until you do so. The main restriction in the exhaust is the test pipe, so that tune is for the cat delete mostly.
Nothing noticeable unless you're on it haha, then much more. Honestly dude if fuel mileage is your first question when it comes to modifying cars then it's not for you.
@@trevorplagg7094 in all fairness im planning on getting a ralliart as a daily that i can also have a bit of fun with so with that same kinda question in mind any modifications i would do i would also want to know if its gonna suddenly chug gas
If anything tuning the car will help the gas mileage, higher horsepower will make it so you dont need as much throttle for the same power as a stock car. High flow air filter by itself will help the mileage even w/o a tune. These cars also run slightly rich at stock.
Yes! You can use the boost pill and the GST free tunes online. Do not use the tune for a "turbo-back exhaust" as for that one you need to have your catalytic converter removed. But you should be all set with the first tune! And I would highly recommend it! If you have any more questions ask away or DM me on Instagram... @plagg_designs
Good clean job on video. Thanks for not lacing with profanity or annoying music. Waiting on my tactrix cable, be here Monday. Love driving this car. Out of curiosity, have you had yours long enough to service the transmission?
Dewey Sturgill I bout my car at about 60k from a dealership so I negotiated the service into purchasing the vehicle and they did it there haha. But I plan on doing the next one myself if I get up that many miles!
Dewey Sturgill I highly recommend looking through the "RA Revolution" group of Facebook. All the guys there are extremely helpful and there is so much good information already there. If you aren't a part yet you can DM me and I can help get you added. I've learned most everything from that group
Damn thanks a lot, I just did mine. Hoping to have my high flow cat and downpipe in today so I can flash that tune in

How did it run? Still own the car? Any negative side?
where did u get the tune and how much was it
Search for GST Ralliart Basemaps, they're free! Just need a tactrix cable and PC to flash.
I'm living in Belgium and its nearly impossible to find boost pill in my area - i mean in Europe :(

As a heads up, on my 09 ralliart you don't need the adapter. The adapter is for the 09 and older evos specifically
Do you have s-sport and launch control on that also?

Where can I find this tuning software and this tune?
You can find the links in the forums or facebook groups - just search for GST Ralliart basemaps
How much was the cable?
I got the cable for $100 a few months ago
