Hi, I found 3.0.0 and it works. Why, I’m not sure, as it uses the same version of Android as 3.0.3 and 3.0.4. Anyway, I can now use my bright DJI Crystal Sky monitor on my Steadicam rig from my Mars 4K. I may not have all the latest features of HollyView, but better than the monitor gathering dust.
Hi there, thank you so much for this video. My Crystalsky is currently running the latest version V03.00.03.00 with Android@5.1.1 Whenever I try to open a downloaded Hollyview-Apk as you do in your video I receive a message saying "Parse error - There was a problem parsing the package" with no other option than to click "OK". I understand that Android Version 5.1.1 could not be able to open the apk but how do I possibly update that? I downloaded the Hollyview-Apk from different sources, with different names and even tried to copy it from a USB-Stick (Partition in NTFS, btw). Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Oliver
Hi, have you tried looking for and trying the version3.0.0 of the hollyview app? it does seem to work for most crystalsky owners that have tried this. i would try the one that apkpure has as it worked for me
Hello, can you tell me where I can buy a used Hollyland Mars X video transmitter, because I can't find it anywhere on the Internet. It could even be used. I only found Mars 300 Pro, but I don't know if it is compatible with CrystalSky. And one more thing, what application (version) of HollyView should be installed on CS? I will add that I use a Sony A6400 DSLR, best regards, Rafal
I have a Phantom 4 Pro Plus. And a CrystalSky Monitor. Can I take a HMDI "cable" into the HDMI out from DJI controller, and cable that to the CrystalSky? Or is that an OUTPUT only on CrystalSky?
hi. I would love to use this feature with my Hollyland transmitter and my unused Crystal Sky. The current version of Hollyview asks which device to install on and only lists my phones and tablets, not the Crystal Sky. Did you have this question for installing the app? If so, what did you select.
I did not as i downloaded the apk itself and side loaded it on the crystalsky monitor. do not download it directly from the app store. if you can find app version 3.0.0 apk do that first.
Found out about APK installers. Got 3.1.4 installed but Hollyview kept stopping after a couple of seconds. Have not had any luck downloading a 3.0.0 version. Will keep trying.@@troubleshootdis5930
The only versions that I have found are 3.0.3 and 3.0.4. Both time out just after connecting and showing a picture. “Unfortunately HollyView has stopped”. Hollyland themselves could only find 3.0.3 as the earliest version. Do you know where I can find 3.0.0? Or do you still have a copy that I can use?
I have the mars 300pro, installed the app (v3.0.4) on the crsystalsky but the wifi of the mars is never found on the crsytalsky for some weird reason. It is found on all my apple devices but not on the crystalsky :s
So I use the same process, but with my Raven Eye. The Crystal Sky couldn’t see my raven eye wifi at first either until I disconnected the CS from my home wifi. Works like a champ now

The bracket idea is actually scrapped as I have designed a new mount that will allow a tripod baseplate to be mounted on the bottom of the crystalsky as well as other accessories. You will need the proper sized screws tho to mount it the monitor's bottom threads.
@@troubleshootdis5930 ok brother. how to I get hold of it. I am also having trouble connecting my Mars 400s to the 7.85 inch Crystalsky monitor as I want to use it as an external monitor.
@@alijacko3021 I will link the thingiverse file and images tomorrow once i can upload it. As far as the mars 400s Im sorry but i do not have experience with it but im thinking maybe the app needed for that is an updated one and doesn't install or is compatible with the android version of hollyview on the crystalsky. I dont know for sure but it may be possible.
Thanks again for the information. You are the only person that I can find on TH-cam that mentioned this capability.
Your comment is much appreciated, I'm glad to hear it!
Thanks for this great tips !!!

I don’t have a hollyview, but I tried this same technique with my Raven Eye and it works like a champ!!
hi I love the original holder! do you happen to have the 3d printer file to hand? thank you
Hi, unfortunately i do not have that file anymore, i have since used a proper aluminum rail and handles to carry the monitor and mount it on tripods.
i fixed problem that I couldnt download an app. Advie for other downloaders, download version 3.0.0. But now device doesnt show a wifi of mars 400

My Crystalsky is not able to install 3rd party apk. Both HollyView and Google Playstore.
What firmware version is your Crystalsky 🙏

Unfortunately crystalsky only does video out. The only way for it to get a video signal is through wirelessly receiving it.
