The helicopter is nice, but don't forget the heater-issue with the boat. Just add them, save the boat & then you have the finished vessel ready if you need it. The heli needs equipment + heaters & as far as I'm concerned it seems a bit too tiny.
Could always add sick beds to outside the heli, similar to M.A.S.H. and such. Not only a replacement for defibs but also extra seats if needed. Or one sick bed and a regular bed, for overnight/day stays. And either make it float (floaties or self-made) or give it a good auto-hover that maintain whatever altitude you set. Handles or two ladder pieces would let you grab it if the seas are a bit choppy. Also, insane distances is usually from no-clip being on. I've used it to get unstuck but it maximises the difficulty, which affects the distance.
@@ProfNCognito Ah, no-clip is usually the culprit. Then I don't know, just another Stormworks bug, I suppose. There's a couple... Or maybe it is the Space DLC affecting it somehow? I have no idea. Either way, glad you're doing this series, always fun to watch classic career -- and I have not in my 1000+ hours been to the arctic for more than a back-and-forth trip, so it's interesting to see.

It's classic career default so there is no no-clip.

Turn off noclip. For some reason the difficulty of missions is maxed when noclip is on
Pretty sure it's space. Noclip is not an option for classic career.
