@@alexghebenei5850 This is a compilation video. This game came out YEARS ago. There is even a sequel already (Ship Graveyard Simulator 2, obviously), which is much better in my opinion, as you can take the ENTIRE ship apart and not just certain things on deck...
Oh, thanks for pointing out. I suspect that something is off because I watched his newer game playthrough last year and his voice here is kind of different 🙂
Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 is much better IMHO. In this game, you can only cut pieces of the ship, in the newer game, you can take apart the entire ship. Though they took out the smelting mechanic, which is sad.
@@jakkrit6910 upgrading is still in the sequel, but the smelting part isn't. Instead, you need to find various categories of items, like "liquids", "equipment", "low grade metal", "high grade metal" and so on and you need some amount of them to build items, for which you bought the blueprints.
I played a LOT of this. Its very satisfying after a day of physical labor to veg out playing a physical labor game. Also, my potato computer couldn't run much at the time and Ship Graveyard Simulator was one of the only games to run smoothly. MOAR!
This is a monday mega edit, which is just a compilation of a series he did in the past. Matt likely hasn't touched this game since the series he did on it over 2 years ago. Also, he's already done a video on Hardspace Shipbreaker.
Now that there's been so much booshing, can we have a boosh edition, that contains nothing but all the booshes. I'm sure there's going to be at least 10 minutes of maximum boosh.
This whole video makes me wish he would play Hardspace: Shipbreaker. It's basically a much better looking version of this game set in space cutting up ships in zero-g. As an added bonus, it even has a story.
Mr Civil Hardhat wearing Hooman. Really love the numbers going up. But importantly for this video in particular, the longer form content. Give me 1 2 hr vid or 4 30 mins "episode" I'm happy. And on that bombshell! A Thank You Kind Sir.
At about 20 minutes in i thought man its pribably gonna end soon but honetsly i culd watch you destroy ships for an hour then i look at the time and well
Hey Real Civil Engineer just wanted to hop on and thank you for streaming and uploading so much regularly. My kidneys have failed recently and your content has helped me keep me distracted
The number of times he's so happy to spend all his cash in upgrades and equipment and forget that he has to pay for the ship and his workers the next morning... I feel a little called out.
Genuine Question: Why do these games almost always lack ambient occlusion and/or shadows? I really think this is of of if not the simplest way to improve the visual quality of a game
Update, wow. Keep uo the good work Tim. It didnt take me longer then a few moments to find out youve been doing this for a while now. Good job. All together now. Chants of sennaar.
I like that he called the lockpicking fallout style, instead of Skyrim style. Fallout 3 is the first Bethesda game that used it but so many more people played Skyrim
1:12:57. Best part of the video.
Trust me this is the best part.
So fuckin cute
As I read that it happened no joke😢
Can confirm.
The dog break was a good and funny moment for sure haha.

Just started watching the vid. Don’t know what you are talking about, but your comment freaking cracked me up
I think he recorded multiple days or in multiple episodes.
@@alexghebenei5850 yes, this is a mega-edit, a compilation of a bunch of older videos.

It seems a lot of people don’t notice that your Monday videos are mega edits of previous series.

It kind of annoys me and makes me think recycled content a little…

Other content creators do it, labeling that as megacut and such.
I always forget until I see how long it is (That's what she said).

Finally got the last Steam achievement in that last week, and then they went and announced a new DLC is coming.
See, I was hoping for something more like Hardspace: Shipbreaker. But I know that that game probably had a bigger team and bigger budget.
@@xerinuspax6843 The second one is much closer to Hardspace: Shipbreaker, than the first. But it is not quite there yet.
yeah i think smelting and upgrading is pretty cool.

I never expect the megaedits. I was like "oh hey new SGS vid!" but no xD
The way I didn't care about this video, but then TH-cam autoplayed it and now I'm invested like I'm watching some sports game 😂
TH-cam knows best! 😂

MOAR!
Matt's the kinda guy to sharpen the disc on his angle grinder.
40:56 That Nokia phone would survive
If your enjoying this game so much, you should try Hardspace:Shipbreaker simuler sort of thing but hass a proper story as well.

Loved watching all these videos back to back in a playlist, so LOVING watching it as one big compilation!!
Well, this is by far the earliest I've been to anyone's videos ever
This came out 2 years ago
How many times have you commented this exact thing

I really enjoy these long form videos from you.
Bridge favourite part of the ship? Sounds like Architect heresy to me

That Nokia it will survive the c4.
I’m sure you could just reuse it. Maybe call paddy with it😂
the most satisfying thing is, the scrap start brolen right from where you hit it
if you showed that big pile of scraps bouncing and jumping to my 13 year old self i would geek out so hard on the physics lol
I love how this game has Fallout/Skyrim style lockpicking mechanics
I haven't played the game myself, but would much rather you were able to use your hammer for a bit of 'safe cracking'.
These throwbacks make me remember the EQ on Matt’s mic used to be like Barry White 😂 There’s so much bass!
11:36 until this moment…
why is this game so much better than its sequel? like seriously
I really enjoyed these, I'm surprised it hasn't come back around yet.
We're playing this game again, yay
its a collection of all his old videos. a repeat.
Do you like part one or part 2 more? The first one seems like more to do but the second one has a funnier scrapping system?

the second game is sooo much better, actually scrapping the ships instead of finding random loot items to take apart.
