Anki saved my pre med school year honestly, i'm so grateful it exists haha
I feel like summaries is a passive and incomplete process, so i highly recommand you to do spider diagrams with your books closed and to do daily anki flashcards. (Ali Abdaal youtube channel for more precisions)
I absolutely hate studying! Teachers never tell you what to do and it can be so overwhelming. Thanks for making it a little easier! I’d really love a video all about mindmaps too.

I really enjoyed today’s video and felt that you provided great fundamental tips that I will definitely apply to my study sessions. I love how you explained the differences of practical and theoretical learning and even provided your own experiences to them. For my last exam I used a more theoretical approach in studying when I should have used the practical approach to better my learning. I think that it would be more appropriate for the subject I’m learning and for my own learning style as well. Could you make a video on essay subjects as well? And I was wondering when you use your iPad to study/ take notes and when you use a notebook.
I would love a video about passive studying. I take three subjects per semester, and they have one assignment (either oral presentation or a written text), and one exam per subject. I study linguistics and literature. The exams are for the most part one week long with access to all sources. But I still need to read and learn what the subject is about.

Hi! I enjoy watching your videos, and I've been watching since the early days, back when you were "Alice M." I was wondering, how do you suggest studying for a subject that is _heavily_ theory-based? One of my subjects this year combines three of my old subjects, and it's all texts, dates and diagrams. We've already had some tough unit tests, but I dread studying for the midterm next month. It would be great if you could make a video about it. Thanks! (and sorry for the huge comment :3)

Hi there :) Thanks for your video; I liked how you divided the different types of studying. I just want to say that I don't fully agree with prioritising your professor's notes over other resources.
Okay if your only goal is to pass the subject, then yes, do that. But I feel like that's a bit superficial. If you're studying a course at university level, then your aim should be to engage with the course subject as deeply as possible.
I would argue that it's almost more important to familiarise yourself with other sources and other viewpoints. Maybe you'll read something with a different opinion from your professor, but that's good!
Firstly it allows you to broaden your perspective on the subject to more than the opinion of one guy in the field. Second, it allows you to develop your critical thinking, as you have a chance to decide for yourself which viewpoint is more valid. Third, your professor is likely to be familiar with other opinions, assuming he's any good, and will likely appreciate you presenting another viewpoint in addition to his. Whether you agree with him or the other, being able to engage enough that you can analyze different views on something and then come to a conclusion yourself will push up your grades very impressively.
To be clear, you shouldn't ignore your class notes and what your professor says by any means; of course it's important to know that. But actually, by reading and contrasting different viewpoints, you're also likely to remember your class notes much better, as you are linking them together with different ideas!

How do you write on graph paper? Whenever I try to write on graph paper I feel like my notes look messy because I’m trying to confine them to the small boxes. Does anybody have any tips?
I'm late and not her but I use graph paper too and I try to do one letter per box (kinda) maybe that'll help you...?

I have a question if i have many papers to study in one subject if i write these papers in a note book will it waste time or not ?!
Yes. You should spend time studying that actual papers (highlight/anotate the papers) re writting them will just waste time and you won't learn anything. Just be active in your learning

Or maybe you can just write the important points so that it's easy to refer during the exams.
Hmm... I study from the paper themselves. Do highlighting and annotating on important sentences/points. Then, to condense everything I'll just write down the highlighted points into my notebook.
Well yes, it can waste a lot of time that you can actually utilize in doing something else. Just organise all the papers neatly and in order in a folder or binder, highlight amd you are good to go! Hope it helps! 😊
I never studied and I don’t know what is studying, I’ve failed so much in year 7 and 8 that I was lucky enough that I didn’t get an award or else I might have to repeat

ktj b She USAs a system called Arc. It's a brand by Staples. I use it myself and love the flexibility of the system. Totally recommend!

could you please make a study guide for first year uni students? (how and when to study...what to cover in a week etc.)
Considering classes for first year uni students vary this might be hard! I think printing out a study schedule and writing down when and where to study will help. Find something that works for you. There may be trial and error!
