The only thing I wish you had included it a link to where we can buy replacement faceplates for MC Control and Mix consoles. I checked the Avid website and there is no information about replacements. Hi Jonah,Is your Avid Control V2 still working okay? I ask because Avid doesn't recommend replacing the faceplate on the Control deck because it can cause problems. In fact, they are making me sign a release form to purchase one from them. Let me know. Thanks, Paul
I never had to replace my screen so no idea. I would contact Avid, but they no longer support his model so might be a mixed bag if you can find any parts.
For those who want to try this fix be very careful. I tried it and got stuck in getting the screen part to fit in.I had to put back the old face plate. I own V2 and got the Face plate from Ebay. Right now the new face plate is just seating idle.
