I watched all your videos on Atelier and they were so helpful! Unfortunately the hotel caught fire recently and they closed it for a couple of months so we had to change our stay over to Excellence. Maybe we can come back in the future and stay at Atelier.

So thank you for making this decision easier between the Atelier and the Majestic... We are lovers of good food so it weighed in the balance. In what priorities do you suggest the restaurants and how to book in advance? Finally is it an added value to take Inspira and so good special on site? Thanks
Hi, you cannot make dinner reservations in advance. You’ll make those when you arrive, for the first few nights. I do think Inspira has value should it be in your budget. I’ll actually be back to atelier tomorrow 😊
For breakfast and lunch options, most resorts typically do buffet style. Does this place have restaurants with a La Carte options for breakfast and lunch other than room service?
great video again!! I noticed u guys brought tumblers to the pool, is that necessary because the drinks will melt? How long was the walk to estudio? and were the restaurants all walk up or do you have to/can you make reservations ahead of time?
We like the tumblers because of the heat, and you need to bother a server less since they’re large. Very quick to Estudio, it’s right next to the theater, you can only make reservations if you’re Inspira. You do need reservations for Maria Delores
Hi - great videos! Do you know what room class the rooms with a direct pool view are? The rooms facing the pool from the building running alongside the pool. TIA!
All sorts of categories (junior suite ocean view and Inspira rooftop, along with junior suite and Inspira swim up in there too, but those won’t have a view as they are on lower levels) …however there’s no way to guarantee that section. You could get placed on the other side too, which faces Estudio. There really isn’t a bad location 😊
I personally don’t. I don’t bring anything I wouldn’t mind NOT coming home with. I almost lost my wedding rings on my first ever trip to Mexico, many years ago. I was in the ocean, and it slipped to the end of my finger. Now it’s left at home. I bring rubber bands for daytime (Enso/Qalo), along with a “nicer” fake from Amazon. I’ve lost the fakes at least a handful of times. Between all the sunscreen and alcohol, I feel more comfortable leaving them safely at home.

Would you recommend Estudio for families? We are torn between Estudio and Hyatt Ziva but the Hyatt is almost $2,000 more and we are wondering if it's worth it to have our children more entertained. Do they have water sports that families can participate in? We have a 14 yr old and a 7 yr old.
For $2,000 I’d say it’s absolutely worth it. That’s a whole second vacation! They have hobie cats, paddle boards and kayaks. Jetski for purchase by the half hour. I’d save that money and do an excursion if you find they are getting bored.
Im planning my trip to Mexico and im deciding between this resort or nizuc. Did you stay in an inspira room at anytime as i saw you guys were able to access the inspira tooftop bar. Was there a charge to enter if you are not in an inspira suit? Thank you 😊
@@zoe.c.2116 I preferred the food, drinks and room design at APM. EPM had better service (although I wasn’t there during Covid so that might not be fair) and they offer more nightly entertainment. Overall it just was a winner for me.

The rooftop is open all guests in the evenings, no matter your room category 🙂

Did you pay extra to ride the boat? Or was that the kayak tour?
I didn’t pay extra for any activities, but you should tip the driver who takes you out. We also tipped the person leading the bike tour

How are the mosquitoes?
Better than I expected, given how lush the grounds are. They do provide spray in your room, however I always bring my own as I’m prone to bites.
