- Our first full day at @ATELIERPlayaMujeres! Started off with a trip to the coffee shop, then the gym, and to El Suspiro for a delicious breakfast. The banana waffles are a must get! Spent the day at the main pool, ordered lunch poolside, played vollyball, and had dinner at Bikini Azul. Ended the night in the theater listening to the rock band.

Well, we did it. Your day 2 video convinced us to pick this resort! I don't normally pick vacations based off video reviews, but between this stay and your last stay -we're convinced. Atelier here we come in November!

Yay! I love that we made it into the video!!!! The first full day was so fun!!! Loved reliving it- though, seeing you all at Bikini Azul, Scott was like, yea, there's no way I would have made it through that meal... but man! The food looked amazing! I agree- the rock band was so good and we were also shocked it wasn't packed!!!

We’re going in March can’t wait💕 we were at excellence in March then Majestic just a few weeks ago which we were kinda disappointed with. I love watching your videos. This will be our 1st trip to this resort.

We were in Mexico in August (for a wedding) and never again! It was so hot I couldn’t go out without sweating, the pools were like bathtub water. I will only go in Jan., Feb. or March. Awesome video! You always give so much info. Love it! ❤️🇨🇦

Hey! Did you leave a tip for the waiters that server you dinner as well?
Always. We tip after every service / encounter
Pro-tip: If you enter and exit from the foot of the bed, the lights won't come on. And we had the same experience with cheesecake at Los Abrazos. The server raved about it and it was not good.
I have heard that about the light, but who gets out at the foot of the bed?!

This look like it’s in the neighborhood of Majestic Elegance. We’ve been there twice and really enjoyed it but we’re looking for something new. Have you been to ME, and how do they compare?
Yes, have been to both twice. Atelier is a step or two above.

Which would you rate higher Atelier or Secrets Akumal?
I prefer Ateliers food way more, so it still ranks higher for me. But it depends what I’m looking for in a trip. Akumal is really great and has more going on.
Did you pay the visitax when you left at the airport?
Most people pay online before they arrive to CUN
We will be at Secrets Moxche in a few days and we’re told by our travel agent that they weren’t making you pay yet!
It’s a real law that started in April 2021. Pay or don’t pay. It’s up to you as it’s currently on the honor system, but it is tied to your passport number.
We love your videos and have watched them all multiple times! We are going back to Majestic Elegance in Oct so we don’t want to be forced out of line to pay a fine for this trip!
What is the little baggie you hand to the servers?

What’s going on with their sister hotel for families estudio? Also I saw that the atelier is now 16 and up according to trip advisor….any truth to that?
Atelier has always been 16+, Estudio closed in 2022 and it’s all Atelier!

I notice many drone shots, have the rules changed? Last we checked only Mexican citizens can fly drones in Mexico…
The rules have not changed to my knowledge.
