Instead of the shoe-mount end on the magic arm, is it possible to get the same round quick release part to have both end the same system? I mean, if I want to place the magic arm on the side of my camera cage, I don't need the shoe mount part...
The quick release system sticks out too much for my liking. A monitor cage with Nato rails or just a Nato rail with arri locking pins attached to my monitor has a shape that is closer to a rectangular which mean it's easier to store, less gaps or protrusion inside a padded bag.
